Yea it’s a five minute video, who watches those anymore! However, if you followed us over the course of Serve Week 2024 (The Ocho) this is an awesome wrap up and great work by the team. We try and use LinkedIn to open a window into our culture. And while Foundry Commercial isn’t perfect and we will always have work to do in pursuit of our standards, I think this is one of the things we get really right. We are a services company and spending time with these amazing organizations, which we encourage you to check out and support, reminds us what true service looks like. It is a week where we try to give back and we always end up getting so much more than we give. Great job Lauren and the entire Serve Week support team. #foundrycommercial #itspersonal #theocho #serveweek2024

They say never work with animals or kids… we disagree! 👧 🐶 Our projects for commercial brands as well as for charities are shaped with the intent to treat kids like the decision-makers they are, allowing them to be heard and seen on their terms. It might sound cheesy, but ultimately our aim is to give kids a voice in culture, brand, and product development. 📅 Next week, In a three-part series of Truth Tips; Challenging Our Perceptions, Catherine Anstead and Juliet Wood encourage us to embrace kids in our research because listening to what they have to say and watching what they do can get us closer to the truth. #ChallengingOurPerceptions #TruthTips #LookOut #ResearchWithKids

Curt Ellis tells it like it is. So often in the #nonprofit world, leaders are incentivized to center the needs/desires of funders and corporate partners over those of the core constituents. I commend Curt for calling this out and leading FoodCorps in a way that prioritizes the needs of its program participants. If you are interested in #foodjustice, I highly recommend giving the full podcast a listen. 🍇 🍉 🍎 🥑 🍅 🥝 🍓 🥗
Curt Ellis - the brilliant Co-Founder and CEO of FoodCorps, emphasizes the pivotal role of food in shaping culture, health and environmental connections. He gets real about the challenges of building genuine public-private partnerships that truly center the needs of the community. Curt cautions against extractive storytelling and shares lessons learned about how to thoughtfully amplify the voices and narratives of the constituents and nonprofit serves.
