Today, Feb. 6, is Time to Talk Day—a day to connect through conversation with the people in your life, and especially to talk about mental health. Mental health used to be something that was talked about negatively, only whispered about, or often not discussed at all. Although the stigma around mental health has decreased significantly in recent years, and people are more *willing* to talk about it, they still don't always know *how* to talk about it. Lost&Found has put together a guide for talking about mental health, including tips for how to start the conversation—whether it's for your own mental health, or for someone you care about. It's Mental Health Awareness Week, a time to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you’re struggling. Together, we can reduce stigma and create supportive communities where we can talk openly about mental health. If you or someone you know needs some support, here are a few places you can turn to: 🔵 Mates in Mind 🔵 Mind 🔵 Samaritans Walk & Talk: Research shows that talking and exercise are both good for your mental health, and that's what Walk & Talk is all about. It's a great way to get together with friends, family or colleagues to help break the stigma around mental health. Why not take 10 minutes to reach out to a colleague and start breaking the silence?
