The Manufacturing Millennial’s Post

That's a lot of linear movement! How many axis motions do you see happening in this video? ⬅️⬆️⬇️↕️⬅️⬆️⬇️↕️ This one solution is from YRG, Inc. and YAMAHA ROBOTICS America, showcasing their Linear Conveyor Module at the Automate Show! 🔔Follow The Manufacturing Millennial for more content!🔔 #TheManufacturingMillennial #Robotics #Manufacturing #Automate

The Answer...... This demo machine is 100% all electric and has: 6 - LCMR200 XBOT (Pallet) Axis 2 - LCMR200 Horizontal Transfer Axis 10 - Robonity (X-Z) (5 - cartesian systems) 5 - Electric Grippers Total Axis Count is 23 Axis Although, I know this demo machine wasn't programming in a PLC, it COULD BE today all programmed in a standard PLC, and the customer's ladder logic. If Rockwell Allen Bradley is used, everything shown can be done with AOIs or add on instructions provided by YRG, Inc. Hope that helps - Chris

I like the use of solutions to fulfill needs instead of I have a solution let’s design the needs to fit. Many would start with a 6 axis robot and try to feed everything in/out, opening a flow line up allows refinement of each concurrent operation with visible bottlenecks and flexible process.

This looks amazing and simple for anyone to operate. In my opinion, this type of solution is more acceptable compared to a robotic arm/cobot. Maybe because its more traditional than the cobot which, for smaller businesses, its still a futuristic product. #leanautomation

Such a great product. Individually addressable pallets with absolute encoders for tracking, 5 micron repeatability, low energy use, capable of super dense stacking and curves. to save space. Love the stuff YRG, Inc. comes up with.

Wow, that's impressive! I count at least four different axis motions. Great tech from YRG and Yamaha!
