My personal, and a delegate favourite from 2023's B2B Ignite conference - as a community we've known for a long time that the traditional "funnel" approach to marketing has become increasingly irrelevant and outdated, a point articulated clearly by Antonia during her presentation.
A year on and the truth of this has accelerated to a whole new level, with multiple B2B revenue/growth teams focussing on how to shift their mindsets to create impactful buyer (and
customer) journeys.
Sales & Marketing teams do still have some dividing lines of responsibility, but working in silos leads to misalignment and ultimately, revenue not being achieved. It's imperative to ensure you understand the new age of B2B buyers, and the journey that your business can take them on.
