Another exciting day ahead in what continues to be a busy week! Starting bright and early with an operational meeting for something new by The Tax Institute— not giving any spoilers yet, but it is bound to be cool and impactful! Later, at 3:00 PM, I’ll be moderating a key panel at the Aspen GMF Bucharest Forum (Aspen Institute Romania) on “Economic Security & the Supply Chain Conundrum”. This session will focus on how the resilience of global supply chains is critical to both national and economic security, especially in the Black Sea region. We'll be exploring solutions for reducing dependency on foreign suppliers, securing critical resources, and strengthening supply chain flexibility. Joining me will be: Claudiu Staicu (Director General, Large Infrastructure Operational Program, Ministry of Transport, Romania), Andriy Shevchenko (Head of Mission to Ukraine, Ukrainian World Congress, Former Deputy Minister of Defence, Ukraine), Oleksandr Kubrakov (Former Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Ukraine (online)) and Yordan Bozhilov (President of Sofia Security Forum, Bulgaria).
