Lessons I learned from working 10+ years in retail: ➡️ How to align your team—daily In ten years, I worked at four different retail brands and each one had their own version of a daily kick-off that all employees would read / participate in at the start of their shift (no matter what time their shift started). The more well-known the brand, the more focused these daily kick-offs were. At the largest retailer I worked for, a manager would actually host the kick-off for each team starting their shift. It was a great way to remind the team of the brand's ethos, daily goals (sales or other) and updates to products or promotions while also connecting us as teammates. These daily huddles were how I got to know my retail peers. TL;DR: Start your day with people. Align on the goals and reset your expectations. #Retail

Why did you like retail, and why did you stay in it for as long as you did?...(I get asked this A LOT!) Here’s why: I liked retail mostly because of the people I got to work with, and the customers I got to help. The teams I built along with my Management Team, and most of my customers were really amazing people. From a business aspect, I liked how quickly it moved. There was always something to do, and you are forever running around, from one job to another. Most of you already know, that I’m no longer in retail. Some ask, do you miss it? My answer is usually NOPE! However, I must admit, I do miss the people....some of them I never thought I would do anything other than retail, but I am so glad that I took a chance and trusted my gut to try something new, something different.... Something WAY out of my comfort zone. Today, I help others tap into a PROVEN SYSTEM, that allows them to work digitally from anywhere they want. If you're open to trying something new, or maybe think it may be time to start that 2nd Stream of Income, and want something that is mobile, so that you can monitor it from your phone, maybe this is it? Helping others is the BEST thing I like about my business. We were a young, chaotic bunch and sold services that we first had to develop. 💫 After a few years, we were already a real team, introduced processes, worked on our culture and our organizational structure. 📆 We now work more professionally than ever before. Including our franchise partners, several hundred people work on Storebox. We are constantly trying to remain agile and not become too static despite our size. We know our strengths and our weaknesses. We try to focus more and more narrowly without forgetting to look left and right. 📈 However, two things have not changed:  The people who work on Storebox every day with all their energy make the difference. 💚 We are still working to change the world. 🌍 Thank you, Team Storebox!
