Postdoctorate at EESC-USP | Data Governance and Business Model | Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence and, Public Management
🌍 Supergirl and Global IP Management: Inspiring Continuous Human Evolution 🌟 In the song Supergirl by Dream Chaos and Della, the central character embodies strength, self-assurance, and the ability to face challenges with determination. These qualities strongly resonate with the principles of global intellectual property (IP) management, a discipline that plays a crucial role in driving continuous human progress. 🎧 🔗 Protecting Innovative Ideas: Just as Supergirl protects herself and navigates challenges, effective IP management is essential for safeguarding ideas and inventions that fuel global innovation. This protection is key to ensuring that ideas can be developed and shared, benefiting society as a whole. 🚀 Resilience and Adaptability: The song reminds us that resilience is necessary to overcome obstacles. Similarly, global IP management must be adaptable and ready to tackle the challenges of an ever-changing environment. Effective IP strategies help ensure that innovations can thrive in a dynamic global landscape. 💡 Driving Progress and Innovation: The song’s character, with her strength and determination, inspires us to keep striving for growth. In IP management, this drive translates into fostering a cycle of innovation, where each new idea and discovery builds on the last, leading humanity to continuous and transformative advancements. By protecting and promoting innovation through global IP strategies, we contribute to a future where progress and human evolution are constant and impactful. Together, we can be the guardians of the ideas that shape the future. 🌐 Enjoy it! #IntellectualProperty #GlobalStrategy #Innovation #HumanProgress #IA

Intellectual Property Management can be challenging for companies working on even the largest scales. International brands such as Nike, Nokia, and Yahoo have all faced patent-related lawsuits due to poor IP Management. So, how can you prevent that from happening to your company? Aligning your IP strategy with your business objectives and having strong, clearly articulated policies are fundamental steps. But perhaps the most impactful step you can take is to implement an intellectual property management system like IPAssist (https://lnkd.in/gVZaUWa4). Digital platforms can help by automating processes and streamlining the lifecycle of your IP, reducing errors. This creates clear guidelines and documentation for establishing ownership and defending intellectual property. #InspireIP #IPAssist #IP #IPManagement https://lnkd.in/gira4PKW

My 2024 Goal: Reduced backlogs/delay to clients. Please react, comment, or share this post to help us expand our dynamic team! Our patent agent program webpage launches soon, which will again offer multiple roles across several offices! For those with experience (including senior patent agents), the link to our current patent agent job posting is in the comments below. What sets us apart? We reward unconventional thinking. For example, we believe patentability goes beyond just knowing the law and the invention. For example, our “Impression” approach to patent prosecution involves combining first impression and storytelling concepts with a deep understanding of client objectives to navigate the gray areas of patent law and secure robust patents for our clients. If you've employed unique strategies for patent procurement, especially in challenging areas like FinTech and machine learning, we certainly want to hear from you!

Founding Partner at Menezes Gaonkar LLP - Protecting value of your IP | Formerly AVP & IP Head at Siemens India | Patent Agent | Trademark Agent | Trained Life and Executive Coach | IIMB | INSEAD
Today, we have had a first round of discussion/interview with couple of IP professionals for the positions #mgip is trying to fill. When I finished introducing myself and the firm, I said tell me why you want to join us. Response from interviewee: I work fulltime at so and so law firm (indeed big one) but I would like to work on project basis. I was like WHAT? This is the first time I heard about moonlighting in IP industry - that too from people who are lawyers. My response was - Firstly, I am not looking for such arrangement as it is not ethical! Secondly, not our values. Thirdly,...... If this is the growing trend, how are we going to take care of: 1) Conflict of interest 2) Breach of employment contract 3) Confidentiality about client matters 4) Loyalty to the firm and so on 5) Conscience Is money the only thing even law professionals are looking for? Do you have similar experiences about #Moonlighting in IP Industry? #moonlighting #intellectualproperty #patents

Helping businesses to create sustainable wealth through Intellectual Property | #Topvoice | IP Attorney who knows law and invention | Startup Mentor helping Startups to grow | Entrepreneur by mindset | Cycling
Every person has 24 hours But Everyone has a different perspective on life during this time. The life of a patent attorney might seem glamorous, But the reality is a fascinating mix of intellectual challenge, technical deep dives, and yes, sometimes even a little detective work. Here’s what a typical day in my life as a patent attorney looks like. ✔ Morning Start the day with prayer and some physical workout. Checking email replying to important mail and forwarding to the team for further action. Reading for some time and looking into the schedule of tasks and meetings. ✔ Afternoon Meet the team with daily review points and discussion on important and priority tasks. Doing virtual meetings with clients or taking sessions for IP awareness. Meeting with business group people from networking platforms to discuss and know about other industries. ✔ Evening After reaching home, the majority time is for family. Taking a walk with my wife after dinner is a daily routine without fail when I am at home. Playing some games or storytelling with my daughter and wife. In a very rare occasion, I work after reaching home in case any emergency or urgent deadline to be addressed. What I love most about this job 👉 Every day is different 👉 Continuous learning across various tech fields 👉 The thrill of protecting ground-breaking inventions 👉 Balancing technical expertise with legal acumen The challenges ↳ Tight deadlines and high-pressure situations ↳ Staying updated with rapidly evolving technologies and laws ↳ Explaining complex legal concepts to inventors ↳ Building a team and providing family-like environment at the workplace ↳ Balancing with work and family Being a patent attorney is more than just a job – it's a front-row seat to innovation, a chance to shape the future of technology and law. To my fellow IP professionals: What does your typical day look like?
