A simple post to say THANK YOU for your incredible support for this year's show, just amazing, and true testament to the value of the show in the removals and storage sector. We launched the Early Bird sale earlier than previous years, mainly because you asked us to as you wanted to secure your space early and start marketing. If we're honest, we were a little skeptical, thinking (wrongly) companies wouldn't want to book immediately into the new year .. You proved us wrong and we are delighted to confirm the show is now around 88% sold! Wowzers. We've added more space by introducing, for the first time this year, 'The Pavilion', a fully branded space, which includes table, 2 seats and electric point, a just turn up approach, for a package price of £1,521 + vat. The Pavilion, gives businesses who have a product or service that would benefit the removals and storage industry, the opportunity to reach out to our sector, introduce their business and make new connections. The space is also open for any past exhibitors, who want to 'just turn up', reconnect with the industry and elevate their presence again. Industry Jargon of the Day! Traffic Flow: The estimated path the audience will take through the exposition or exhibit. Coming out of covid, there have been a lot of new people working in the trade show industry mostly on the exhibitor side that could benefit from this. This is from an article in Exhibitor "Your Passport to Industry Jargon: An Inexhaustive Glossary Guide" written by Danelle Dodds Side note: Starts with Design and Layout but first picking your booth space at a show is a science in itself. First time exhibitors may have to wait years to get a better spot on the trade show floor. Often spots are locked in by exhibitors for the following year's show before the current year's show opens. Being near the entry doors is key and even some like to position themselves near or across the aisle from their bigger competitors. Once you have booked your space, the actual position your reception area "Initial planning must take into consideration how visitors will enter and exit your exhibit. Whether there will be multiple points of entry and exit or a single entry? How will sales staff or greeters be positioned to draw in, welcome and direct traffic?" Dig Deeper! DO EXPOS WORK? Yes! If you know 'how' to exhibit. If you follow up the leads. If you are patient. No! If you want instant gratification. FACT. 78% of exhibitors don't follow up their leads. EXAMPLE. An exhibitor at a big show I ran at the NEC told me he would never do the show again. Six months later, he re-booked on the strength of two great contracts that came in several months after the show . WOKING MEANS BUSINESS - for contacts, leads, business - if you are patient.
