I recently had a conversation with a recruiter that left me puzzled. I mentioned that the candidate could be fully remote, have a 4-day work week, and work from anywhere - he seemed genuinely surprised. His exact words were - “Most companies are not as flexible” I was taken aback. Isn't this just... normal now? Apparently not. And that got me thinking: Why are companies still resistant to remote and hybird work? At Stashbee, we've embraced a simple truth: Work can be done from anywhere. Why? Because: - Talent doesn't have a post code - Productivity isn't measured by office hours - Increased employee satisfaction - Better work-life integration But it's not just about perks. It's about principles: - Trust in our team - Focus on results - Adapting to the modern world Challenges? Of course: - Building culture across distances - Ensuring effective communication - Maintaining team cohesion Don't get me wrong, we still love our office. It's a hub of creativity and connection. Most of our team enjoy a hybrid model. Our approach? Simple: - Embrace the best of both worlds - Foster in-person collaboration when it counts - Leverage remote work for focus and flexibility The future of work is flexible. Agree?

🌍 The Future of Global Remote Work: Is Asynchronous Communication the Key to Unlocking Productivity? ⏳ In fully remote, global teams, time zones often feel like an invisible barrier. However, a growing trend we’re seeing in successful remote-first companies is the shift toward asynchronous communication—where work and collaboration happen at different times. Here’s why it’s gaining traction: Autonomy and Focus: When employees aren’t bound by real-time responses, they can dive deeper into their work, making thoughtful contributions instead of quick reactions. Diverse Talent Pool: Asynchronous practices allow companies to hire the best talent globally, without being limited by time zone constraints. Work-Life Balance: Teams can collaborate across time zones without sacrificing personal time, leading to better engagement and lower burnout rates. But here’s the challenge—trust. In a remote and async environment, trust is the backbone of team success. It’s about trusting that everyone is contributing, even if you don’t see them online at the same time as you. 🌱 The question is: Is your company ready to embrace this level of flexibility? Regardless of where you stand on the #returntooffice debate, the last several years have undeniably made the workforce much more global and distributed. Maybe that looks like a fully in-office company with several global locations, a fully remote org with employees all over just one country, or something in the middle. However it looks for your company, there are many benefits—and challenges—to having a distributed team. Earlier this week, Haris Ikram talked about this topic. 🔑 Key takeaways: • Why the pandemic accelerated global hiring and the rise of remote work. • How companies can benefit from diverse, cost-effective, and time zone-friendly teams. • The role of tech tools like CandorIQ and EOR solutions in navigating these complexities. 🔗 Read the full webinar recap on the blog, link in the comments. ⬇️
