The Manitoba Bar Association supports the Chief Justice’s concerns, emphasizing that these delays and deficiencies pose a risk to the fundamental rights of Manitobans. As stated, "Investment in the administration of justice is a commitment to maintaining a fair, accessible, and responsive judicial system," including much-needed funding for an e-filing system, virtual appearances, and adequate staffing.
