Twilight has fallen on human civilization as we know it. After a golden age marked by the discovery of the secrets of genetics, a global civil war ravaged the planet. In a now hostile world, the five humanoid races that have inherited the Earth seeks to survive. In whose image will the future be built? # In the Genedusk Universe # The year is 2009. Post-apocalyptic fiction is at the height of its popularity, but François-Mikhaël Labrie, then a biotechnology laboratory technician student, is bored. It’s always the same thing: zombies or radiation… yet, among those around him, it’s genetics that we constantly talk about. A big fan of role-playing games, he decided to create what he was missing: a post-apocalyptic role-playing game with a genetic theme. After a summer spent writing in a spiral notebook, he summons his players and invites them to test his new creation: Genedusk. Among them, Estelle Bourbeau, future librarian who would soon join the project and bring her distinct mark. More than a decade later, Genedusk has transcended its humble origins through testing and refinement. The result: a unique game system associated with a unique and colourful universe. # The Game System # Genedusk is a post-apocalyptic tabletop role-playing game focused on survival. Our game system, made complete and balanced through numerous rounds of testing, emphasizes immersion, creativity and communities. * Uses 6-sided dice (d6) * Based on a system of characteristics (strength, agility, etc.) familiar to many players * Keep your character alive by monitoring their supplies, fatigue level and mutation points * Features a system for collecting, crafting and inventing items The greatest strength of the Genedusk system is the place given to customization. When creating your character, you will have to select one of our 5 playable humanoid races: * The survivors, the last descendants of humanity * The pure, protectors of futuristic technology from the golden age * The amplified, genetically modified human beings * Mutants, creatures no longer entirely human * Hosts, inventors with genetic memory * You will then be able to choose from a host of traits and skills to create precisely the unique character you wish to embody.   In french Only! Our goal is to guide and support the integration of the various digital solutions developed by Probono's partners (from scenario management systems to IOT-powered #AI models) so as to meet the needs of Probono's experimentation sites, from Dublin to Madrid. I completely forgot this video of a keynote talk I gave in 2018 using an early version of my model of whole #livedexperience with health. Using examples from major Umio studies into #chronicpain and #diabeticobesity, i explain how a whole experience view - going beyond health - offers new pathways for health systems invention and integrated care. In it, I apply a more explicit ecological model that I no longer use. This whole experience view underpins the pivot towards “stuck lives” - transcending health and non-health conditions - that we are making in the new Umio model and Umio Realities technologies.
