Looks like that each of these  EcoRecord LP's will be made from an average, nine recycled plastic bottles and sold in "PINK". The Ocean Cleanup collaboration edition is available in "NATURALLY CLEAR" and can be per-ordered from the Coldplay website. Correct me if I am wrong! I am often amazed how the sound quality of vinyls can vary. I remember Coldplay from years back and ordered a copy. I am sure I won't be disappointed. Some say it's green-washing, I don't think so. It helps highlighting the continues growing existence of plastic waste dumped into our oceans. After all, the one and only solution is to prevent 100% plastic waste. A vinyl record is a keepsake and if handled with care, records can be passed on forever. 70%/30% rPET blend? They say: "The toughest challenge was finding the right blend between our river plastic and the smaller proportion of other recycled plastic. The key question was: what is the maximum percentage of river plastic we can use in the LP while still ensuring perfect sound quality?" Dr. Dickinson states, "this is a graphic score created for my composition students, an example of 'Augenmusik'--eye music--for them to try for themselves. It incorporates bits of the UCA Fight Song and Alma Mater." The "eye music" in the form of the UCA Bear logo creates clusters of notes, leading Dr. Dickinson to also say, "Sometimes music should be seen and not heard!
