World-leading band Coldplay joined the largest cleanup in history in 2021 and has supported our mission in various ways since.
They've provided funding for our operations to remove plastic from oceans and rivers, sponsored two Interceptors, and spread awareness by showing footage of our cleanup operations at their live shows.
The most recent step in our global partnership is a limited 'Notebook Edition' LP release of Coldplay's latest album, "Moon Music," made using river plastic we intercepted in the Rio Las Vacas in Guatemala.

Sometimes it’s okay not to mention #cannabis specifically when appealing to the broader #cannabisculture
There are those artists that smoked, partied but never went too far in-depth with discussing cannabis use itself.
Bob Fylan is a great example of this.
Does he smoke pot?
We know he does, and while very few songs make mention of it directly, he has been one of the artists that stood in unity with the hippies fighting against #war.. fighting for free #love and #peace, man…
Songs like ‘Times are A Changing’ or even ‘Masters of War’ show the spirit of defiance against the American military industrial complex, while songs like ‘Ballad of a Thin Man’ or ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ capture that more creative out-there vibe that he was pioneering at the time with New Folk.
When I think currently about how to tie this into a brief outlook on the #Canadian#cannabisindustry the song that seems fitting is ‘Don’t Think Twice it’s Alright’
Written by Hob Dylan in 1962, this guitar picked track was released on the album The Freewheelin Bob Dylan.. an album I believe I’ve posted about before on a previous music Monday.
That slow walking away moment from the hulk, leaving a long and arduous adventure, toxic relationships and and endless cycle of negativity is an ideal I would like to see in this space. For the people that care about the plant as advocates, or even fanatics, I see those true believers in the future of the industry walking down a dirt road, baluchamp toed and slung over the shoulder.. just walking away.
Throughout the last ten years of cannabis culture for me, I love watched a lot of people just walk away.. and I’ve had to walk on a number of endeavours.
So, maybe we can call this a love ballad from the Butter Baron to those Canadian provincial boards.. where himself would never launch my product line.
While the Baron walks off down the dirt road he wishes a consolation to those he left behind: Don’t think twice, it’s alright.
.. or.. maybe it’s just a good tune.

Did you know that music can do more than just entertain? 🎶
Leonard Goh, Guitarist at TENG and Producer at Soul Dot Pte. Ltd., believes that music can
🎶Build character: Instilling perseverance and resilience.
🎶Spark creativity: Encouraging self-expression.
🎶Enhance learning: Making education fun and effective.
Recently, Leonard worked with us on a project with COPE Disaster Champions to create catchy jingles based on the “Disaster Book Series.” These jingles help children learn about disaster preparedness in a fun and memorable way.

BLACKPINK's Rosé and Bruno Mars' collaboration song 'APT.' has captured the attention and hearts of fans around the world. 💖
Now the question is: what key factors contributed to the global appeal of the song? Did it draw attention only because of the two artists' global fame, or perhaps other aspects played a significant role? 🤔
If you're curious about the answer, check out my latest article for Kpopmap below! 😉

Water safety plan co-ordinator. Water quality specialist with10+ years experience in quality process control, quality assurance, implementation of quality management systems and water quality research.
In another lifetime,I worked at a radio station as a salesperson. The station was entirely dedicated to playing rock music. I became a huge fan of rock music, particularly soft rock because the "dealer" must sample the "product." (As an aside,I need to start watching other genres of movies. )
Our station had a horrible habit of playing the same song several times in a day. Apparently, this was based on studies and experience. Eventually, the station went under. Perhaps we lost our audience in the repetitive maze. I digress. I am more into #WaSH and #water quality so let me quickly go back to my lane.
Reading and interpreting research comes with certain challenges. We all have our lenses which easily get in the way of seeing clearly.
10% of Kenyans love rock music is not the same as 10% of all Kenyans of all ages from all regions love rock music. Plus, what appeals to a 40-45year Kenyan could be utterly repulsive to 20-25year old
As we read ,interpret and apply research findings, please consider the following:
Where was this study carried out?
What method (s) was used for data collection and analysis? Limitations?
What was the sample size?
What are the implications of this study considering the limitations?
Happy reading

Stepping out of my comfort zone, I've released my second original song in collaboration with Four Motion Films. This time, I've chosen to address the pressing issue of victim blaming, a topic often overlooked in the world of art and music.
I wrote, composed, and performed the song, with the audio production by the talented Thasindu Wathsal.
Also, tremendous thanks to my dear friend Sanuliya Dandeniya, for featuring in the music video and adding more color and value to it.
I'm incredibly grateful for the journey so far and proud to use my platform to raise awareness about such important issues.
