Really appreciate your work, but for many items, plastic is the best solution according to LCA. The main problem we face is related to people, after all, plastic doesn’t end up in the ocean by itself.

Good afternoon, dear and respected network. I honestly think that some institution or organization should create and propose a more aggressive and incisive program so that the impact is more positive with respect to this issue and what is at stake. It may sound like a dream, but if there were sufficient, more serious support, I would bet on the creation of a constant and present global surveillance/auditing alliance on each platform in operation. I should add that ships handle whatever cargo they want, when their waste discharges in ports are not the reality. I understand that bureaucracy will play its role in blocking any move that seeks to deepen the solution to this issue.

Thank you for sharing The Ocean Cleanup.

The situation is a lot more serious than I imagined.

Send the clean-up bill to Exxon-Mobil Corporation, which has been reaping huge profits for decades by polluting the oceans with its plastic production. It could care less about protecting the global marine environment. It is nothing but a greedy corporation that only cares about making a sh*t-ton of money for its senior management and shareholders.
