The Ocean Cleanup’s Post

For the first time, we can put a price tag on cleaning up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. We now call upon the world - governments, companies, individuals - to make this cleanup happen.

This wonderful project will not be effective unless the polluting sources will be taken care of. How this can and should be done - by calculating and handing the bill to the responsible entities. How to do it? I offer as usual my plan pro bono...gatu@vms.huji.ac.il

We are extremely grateful for your enormous work and contribution to freeing us from this very serious environmental crisis caused by plastic pollution. I will always support you and give you a voice. The companies that produce this mess should be forced to contribute financially to cleaning up all the contaminated waste. In addition, nations should unite and ban the use of single-use plastics, introducing biodegradable and sustainable alternatives, of which there are many, there are no excuses.
