Yesterday I had the honor to provide insights on the key developments in strategic asset allocation of Dutch households during the @Leaders in Finance Future of Wealth Management event. The biggest development we foresee is the increasing importance of alternative assets at the expense of traditional assets, such as stocks, bonds, ETFs, and funds. This growth will be driven by tokenization, which will make alternative assets accessible for less wealthy customers and more attractive for all customers given improved liquidity and reduced volatility. Also alternative assets will provide asset- and wealth managers the possibility to make an actual contribution in making our world more sustainable and address the increasing need of customers to make impact on top of getting a good return. Feel free to connect for a deeper discussion or share your thoughts! #WealthManagement #AlternativeAssets #Tokenization #RolandBerger

The Chinese consumer sector faced notable challenges in 2023. Max, our associate director for investment, expects continued weakness in consumer companies, especially in the first half of this year. However, amid this challenging landscape, certain sub-sectors (can you guess which ones?) are showing more promise than others. We are taking a proactive approach to seize these potential opportunities. #chinamarket #2024outlook #investingstrategy #stockmarket This document is issued by Zeal Asset Management Limited and has not been reviewed by the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong.

Chinese Managers' Opinion on Advantages of #MOMinvestments At the FOF and Fund Selectors' Portfolios Forum hosted by Finfo Global, Ye Yuzhang, General Manager of Multi-Asset Dept. at CIB Wealth Management, delivered a speech titled "Market Opportunities and Outlook for MOM Investments in 2024." Ye believes that outsourcing wealth management funds to invest in MOM (Multi-Asset, Multi-Manager) offers not only a combination advantage superior to single private fund sales but also various structural advantages. These include diversified asset allocation, penetrating risk management, transparent operational management, and flexible fund allocation. The primary application of MOM investments currently involves fixed income combined with diverse quantitative products. By incorporating fixed income as a foundation and expanding the product line, the risk-return characteristics better align with the needs of retail customers. The addition of diverse quantitative strategies, such as moderately incorporating high-alpha index enhancement strategies, enhances product performance aggressively. Including #CTA strategies helps build high #Sharperatio products through low correlation, increasing the products' all-weather capabilities. It is great to see that the Reit ETFs have seen a notable increase in volume! Reits, such as Cromwell Eur, Manulife US Reit have soared 22% and 86% respectively since 5 Aug. Readers would have seen my previous post on Cromwell EUR where i have a 1-1 lunch with Cromwell management. Readers can refer to here https://lnkd.in/g2xCx9Zd Last couple of months, i have shared with clients that there is a possibility that there may be fund flow into our reit sector from various sources such as the large amount of T bills which are maturing in the next 6 months... Do you think it is too late to join this reit rally? Let me know your thoughts. #SGX #SGXGroup #Reitsinvesting #reits #dividendyield
REIT ETFs in Singapore have reached historic heights in assets under management, marking a significant milestone since their debut in 2016. This growth is supported by a notable increase in trading volumes, reflecting a shift in market sentiment in the latter half of 2024 as investors become more optimistic about potential easing in global financial conditions. Institutional investors have also shown renewed interest, reversing some of the outflows seen earlier in the year. Among the 5 REIT tracking ETFs, the LION-PHILLIP S-REIT ETF has attracted considerable interest from both institutional and retail participants. The overall increase in trading activity and investor confidence highlights the strength and attractiveness of REIT ETFs in the current market environment. ETFs listed on Bursa Malaysia require substantial participation from retail investors or designated market makers (DMMs) to generate liquidity based on the underlying assets within the basket. Without this liquidity, the ETF listing could merely serve as a gimmick and may not be utilized effectively. #bursamalaysia #ETF #ETFInvesting #LeverageInvestment
