Advanced level teacher at Holy Family Convent | Director of education at Dineshkanthan Tennis School
A message which is very important at the current situation. As educators, we believe that learning begins long before children enter the classroom. Parents, you are the first teachers in your child's life, and your role in shaping their values is invaluable. Teaching respect for elders and teachers, kindness, and honesty starts at home. Together, let's foster an environment where our children grow into respectful and compassionate individuals, equipped with the values they need to thrive. #ParentTeacherPartnership #BuildingValues #EducationStartsAtHome

Apples & trees—we are so proud of raising the next generation of educators. We have two amazing daughters. One who is already an educator & one on her way. Being a teacher is the single hardest job nobody respects. In spite of the lack of respect our daughters strive to raise the next generation of dreamers—because educators MAKE DREAMS! #education #educationalleadership #educators #eductionalequity #educatorsrising

Fostering Strong Family Bonds and the Integration of Faith-Based Values: Homeschooling emphasizes family-centric education, allowing parents to play a more active role in their children's learning journey. By introducing homeschooling to parents in the church, you promote an educational approach that fosters strong family bonds. Church leaders and experienced homeschooling parents willing to lend their knowledge and counsel to other families can become a supportive community where families share the teaching load, resources, and encouragement in the way of a "homeschool co-op" or "Church Schoolhouse." This aligns with the church's commitment to nurturing strong family values and providing a supportive network for its members who wish to exit the public school system, teaching their children at home and weekly/bi-weekly at their local Church Schoolhouse, rather than taking a back seat while the State disciples them. Educating within a church community allows for seamlessly integrating faith-based values into the educational experience. Parents and church leaders can incorporate a Biblical worldview and Godly standards/morals, ensuring that education is not only academically enriching but also spiritually grounding. This alignment between education and faith strengthens the church community's commitment in assisting every family who wishes to homeschool. The church makes it possible because they open their doors weekly or semi-weekly to homeschooling families who desire community while teaching and taking classes with their children at the Schoolhouse. By introducing homeschooling to a church congregation, the leadership board creates an environment that supports both academic and spiritual growth, reinforcing the sense of community and shared values within the church. The pastor and church leaders, recognizing current trends of the mass exodus from the public school system (K-12), affords these families "a place to land," facilitating a strong solution to parents who wish to disciple their own children under the covering of a local church body. www.ChurchSchoolhouse.com
