Studying at the Faculty of Commerce has been an incredible journey. I am deeply passionate about learning various aspects of commerce, including finance, accounting, and business management. The diverse curriculum has equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the business world. I am also grateful for the opportunities to connect with fellow students and professionals who share the same interests. Looking forward to continuing my growth and making a positive impact in the field of commerce." #CommerceStudent #Finance #Accounting #BusinessManagement

Hot take: I think it’s scary how many MBA grads (with very little business experience) are buying businesses using SBA debt. Operational experience is critical for driving success in business — and business experience is not the same as business knowledge. Sometimes the “right” answer (according to business textbooks) is the worst thing you can do for your business, and only robust experiences — mistakes and challenges — can teach you that. Business knowledge is like “form” in exercise. Your form might be good, but ultimately it’s the muscle (experience and follow-through) that are going to move the weights.

Grad school update: I passed my hardest course, Corporate Finance, Sunday. Here are my real-life takeaways: 🪂I'm risk averse, but I want to be more risk tolerant. Sometime you just have to go for it! 🧘♀️I've learned to stay calm and rational when something seems really hard. 💫Nothing is perfect, and good enough is sometimes what I need to let be. I see the light at the end on the tunnel finally!! 2 months into term 3; 7 of 11 courses complete!! By the end of September I should be Shealan Pream, MBA.
