Have you read this month’s Land & Business magazine from The CLA? 📰 Englefield House and the wider Estate is featured as a case study about diversification for rural businesses, highlighting the Heritage Live Festivals summer concerts as an example of a unique social experience and commercial opportunity for Estates. Our Estates Director, Edward Crookes and Events Manager, Peter Carson, spoke with Jasmin McDermott at The CLA about the intricacies of planning these large events, the importance of working with an organiser who is aligned with the Estate’s values, as well as the benefits these types of events have for those who live locally and work at Englefield. Edward said: “The filming and events operation forms an important part of the estate’s enterprises in diversifying our sources of income; they make a vital contribution to the costs of maintaining the historic fabric of Englefield House, the park and gardens. “They are hard work for the team, but also great fun and a busy events calendar enriches estate life for those who live and work here.” To read more about this year’s summer concerts, click here: https://lnkd.in/dcKzZYWU The full CLA article can be viewed here: https://lnkd.in/eW4rFdbP #EnglefieldEstate #EnglefieldHouse #RuralBusiness #LandedEstate #Diversification #EventsVenue

I see tons of concerts every year -- big ones and small ones. I'm not sure about you, but I will pay dearly to see an artist or band that is important to me. And I'll skip the rest. Here are my 2 cents on this supposed "trend" about fans not paying up to see shows this summer. * LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. No one wants to see a show in a giant venue with half the seats filled -- and the artists won't want to play to them. Fans want to see artists in the places where we can see (and feel) the music. These giant venues are no fun unless they are packed and everyone in the audience knows every song. The audience is part of the dynamic. The Black Keys are being smart, instead of canceling...they are re-tooling their shows to be in venues where it will be fun for fans (and them). J Lo -- not so much. Rather than reworking her show, she's canceling. Sorry, but experimentation for the win. * FAN SERVICE: The smart artists are playing smaller shows and also double-billing them. Pay attention to this trend. I'm seeing Jane's Addiction and Love & Rockets and they're well paired. Both shows will be awesome and who knows -- maybe they'll all end up on stage together. The chance for the unexpected to happen is part of the magic. Plus, the show is Pier 17 in NYC. It's an outstanding outdoor venue with a view of NYC. Could they have played at a bigger venue? Sure. Would it seem as fun? No way.

🌟 Behind the Scenes with LittleBig at the 2023 Corona Sunsets Festival in Cape Town 🌅 As the sun set on the breathtaking shores of Cape Town, something magical was brewing. LittleBig had the privilege of capturing and crafting the story of the 2023 Corona Sunsets Festival - a tapestry of music, culture, and unforgettable moments. Our journey with Anything Goes was more than just a project; it was a testament to the power of partnership and shared creativity. Together, we didn't just film an event; we captured an experience, weaving the Corona brand seamlessly into the lifestyle and joy of the festival-goers. 🎥 Our Role: From the energy of the crowds to the serene sunset, our cameras were rolling, encapsulating every emotion, every beat, and the spirit of celebration. In the editing room, our team meticulously crafted a wrap film that didn't just showcase an event but told a story - a story of togetherness, fun, and the Corona lifestyle. 📈 Trending in Event Marketing: Utilizing events as a springboard to capture audience attention is more crucial than ever. In today's world, events are not just gatherings; they're opportunities to create emotional connections. Our work with the Corona Sunsets Festival highlights this trend. We've shown how effectively integrating a brand into an event can transcend traditional marketing, touching hearts and leaving a lasting impression. 💡 The Takeaway: Events are no longer standalone occurrences; they are powerful narratives waiting to be told. By interlacing the essence of the Corona brand with the festival's atmosphere, we didn't just promote a product; we celebrated a lifestyle. Join us in reliving the magic. Watch our wrap film and see how LittleBig, in partnership with Anything Goes, brought the 2023 Corona Sunsets Festival to life, turning moments into memories and marketing into an art form. #LittleBigCreative #CoronaSunsetsFestival #EventMarketing #BrandStorytelling #PartnershipSuccess #ExperienceTheMagic https://lnkd.in/dJ78bFYc
