As a part of Google's Quantum announcement today, they mentioned "It lends credence to the notion that quantum computation occurs in many parallel universes, in line with the idea that we live in a multiverse, a prediction first made by David Deutsch." What crazy level of information is this 🫨 😵💫 Does it mean that whatever living being that exist in these multiverses use Quantum Computer? https://lnkd.in/dwbgXZ9S

This is an example of what I'd like to call "quantum legerdemain". Look! Over there! Multiverse. For reals, methinks there is conflation between something occurring in parallel and something happening in parallel universes.
