Greetings Sorors and Fraters,
Since 2017, the NPHC’s Black Greek Letter Consortium (BGLC) has been a community partner of the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program.
In addition to educating our communities about the importance of minority participation in research. We have also developed the NPHC’s Divine Nine (D9) Researchers Pipeline. This initiative provides experienced D9 Researchers with the opportunity to work collaboratively to gain access to and study extensive health data from diverse populations, especially those in underrepresented biomedical research. This esteemed group of individuals will be a voice and join the conversation to discuss topics such as the benefits, challenges, and relevancy of minority research and researchers.
There is an upcoming opportunity for everyone to learn more about the cloud-based platform where registered researchers can access Registered and Controlled Tier data to support data analysis and collaboration. We welcome all members of our organizations to register and attend the virtual All of Us Researchers Convention on April 3 and 4, 2024!
This free, virtual event will showcase research using the All of Us dataset. This research would not be possible without the generous contributions of All of Us participants and our community partners who are helping raise awareness about the program. We hope you’ll join the convention to see how researchers are using All of Us data to advance health research.
The National Institutes of Health's All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to collect and study data from at least one million people living in the United States. The goal of All of Us is to speed up health research discoveries, enabling new kinds of individualized health care. To make this possible, the program is building one of the world’s largest and most diverse databases for health research. More than 8,150 researchers are already using the program’s dataset to conduct health research.
