Whereever I see bullets sold, I encouarge staff to sell only lead-free bullets for this exact reason. This bioaccumlation problem is an easy fix if we just educate sellers and hunters to switch their bullet type. "New development of alternative non-lead ammunition allows hunters the same performance and accuracy of traditional lead-based ammunition without fragmentation. Non-lead ammunition consists of solid copper or copper alloys (90-95% copper and 5-10% zinc) and is available in a large variety of calibers and bullet weights for rifle, shotgun and muzzleloader."
