MIT MBA l Harvard MPH l CNO at NPHub, I help NP programs optimize student clinical placements I 40 under 40 Honoree-Seattle
Absolutely thrilled to share how the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health MPH Program in Epidemiology was a game-changer for me. As the CNO of NPHub, the skills I honed in data analysis and public health strategies are instrumental in addressing the national provider shortage. Leveraging epidemiological insights allows us to streamline NP placements, optimize healthcare delivery, and make impactful decisions daily. Are you an NP program director/university dean or hospital exec interested in the MPH in Epidemiology, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health program or an MPH in general? I’d love to connect and offer tips on the application process. Let’s transform healthcare together! #HarvardMPH #Epidemiology #HealthcareLeadership #NPHub #PublicHealth #HealthcareTransformation #ConnectAndCollaborate

Exciting News! Northern Arizona University College of Nursing at the Yuma campus, a Sensis partner, is offering the groundbreaking Compressed Bachelor of Science in Nursing (CBSN) program. This initiative aims to address critical workforce shortages in the community by presenting an accelerated path to a nursing degree in just 16 months, compared to the traditional 30-month duration. This program signifies a significant shift in nursing education, highlighting NAU's commitment to tackling pressing healthcare needs. Additionally, it provides scholarship opportunities and fosters partnerships with key healthcare institutions, further demonstrating their dedication to community well-being. In conjunction with this milestone, it's noteworthy to recognize a positive trend: the increasing number of Latinas pursuing higher education. According to Axios Latino, the share of U.S. Latinas with a four-year college degree has nearly quadrupled over the past two decades. This trend underscores the importance Latinas place on higher education as a pathway to high-wage jobs and financial stability. Let's celebrate this progress and continue supporting initiatives that empower communities through education and opportunity. ¡Arriba Latinas! It's nice when colleges make it easier for students to get licensed for their dream careers. Licensing requirements vary by state, whether for nursing, teaching, or social work. This can be challenging for those who attended college in one state and decide to work in another. It's up to the individual to do their homework, but it's unfortunate when some college credits aren't transferable or when different practice hours are required. Joyce University is working to change that. Nursing is a high-demand field, and more colleges should follow suit for future healthcare workers, as well as other professions that are in high demand. #EducationReform #CareerPathways https://lnkd.in/gxG-3Gn2

🌟 Exciting News from John Carroll University! 🌟 We are thrilled to share our latest publication on the "Leased clinical faculty model: Bridging gaps in nursing education," featured in the Journal of Professional Nursing. This model, developed in response to the critical nursing faculty shortage, enables us to provide joint faculty appointments for full-time practicing RNs as part-time clinical instructors through a unique partnership with healthcare institutions. 🔍 Key Highlights: - Seamless integration of hospital-employed RNs into our academic framework. - Enhanced learning experiences for our nursing students. - Positive feedback and quality educational outcomes since its inception in August 2023.
