The benefits of exercise on our physical and mental health are just incredible. If you’ve been following The Resilience Project for a while, you’ll know how much our founder (Hugh van Cuylenburg) loves exercise - especially running. So much so, that he’s collaborated with Audible to put together a collection of motivating listens for fellow running enthusiasts. If you're curious about some of Hugh’s favourite stories, or you're looking for some movement inspiration, you can check out his list here: https://adbl.co/3LXiv5t #TheResilienceProject #HughVanCuylenburg #Audible #InspiringStories #Exercise #Movement #MentalHealth #Wellbeing #Resilience

You don’t need a self-help book. You need to go for a run. We live in a world obsessed with finding the next big secret to happiness or success, and the self-help industry is booming because of it. But here’s the thing: you don’t need another book telling you how to live your life. You need to move your body and clear your mind. Going for a run does more for your mental health than any book ever could. It’s not just about the physical benefits—although those are huge—it’s about what it does for your mind. The fresh air, the rhythm of your feet hitting the pavement, the release of endorphins—it all adds up to a natural, powerful boost for your mood and mindset. Instead of spending hours reading about how to improve your life, spend 30 minutes running and see how you feel afterward. The clarity, focus, and energy you gain will do more for you than any self-help book can. So, stop searching for answers in the latest bestseller. Lace up your shoes and go for a run. The real answers are out there on the road, waiting for you to find them. Ready to start running but don’t know where to begin? Drop me a message, and let’s create a simple plan to get you moving and feeling better. #GetMoving #RunForYourMind #NoMoreExcuses #MentalHealthMatters #TakeAction #HealthyHabits #BodyfirstPT #running #OnlineCoach #nutition #fitness #mindset #weightloss

Here’s How Writing a Book is Similar to Preparing for a Marathon: Writing is more than a mental exercise. It's a full-body endeavor. To write with clarity, my physical fitness is as crucial as my mental agility. It’s about: 👉 Building strength and endurance 👉 Maintaining a healthy, supportive body and mind. All for the writing marathon ahead. Preparing for a book is preparing for a journey – one that challenges every part of you. Here's to embracing the holistic journey of writing! . . . #Author #Book #PositivePsychology #HealthandWellness #goalsetting #Goals #biggoals Cheryl Segura Wiley

What keeps me going? Apart from my family (my wife and two kids), whose happiness and well-being are the purpose of everything I do, there’s one more thing that gives me the motivation, energy, and will to keep pushing. Running. I’m a morning runner. By morning, I mean 4 AM. There are periods when I go for a run in the evening. That’s usually when my kids are sick, and I miss my morning workout. But typically, I get up at 3.45 AM each morning. By 4.15 AM, I’m out on the streets pounding pavement. For me, running is more than a sport. It’s a meditation, therapy, and learning. There’s no better mindfulness exercise than focusing on one step at a time. Running relieves me from the mental load, the previous day's worries, and struggle. A perfect therapy. Finally, running provides me with a great learning opportunity. I’ve listened to dozens of audiobooks, podcasts, and other valuable audio materials while running. Whether it’s snow, rain, cold, hot, or humid, running has always been there for me. And I’ve always shown up. 💡What keeps you going? ______________________ If you find this post helpful, consider resharing it and following me, Bojan Pepic, for more content like this. Supporting doctors to work out what to do with their career so that they can get back to enjoying life. 1:1 coaching and workshops.
If you’ve not previously come across this book, I’d highly recommend it. It’s about working out who you want to be, and identifying the systems that will help you to achieve and sustain this. Small, incremental steps to move you in this direction – 1% habit shifts. So, for example, if you’re wanting to create an exercise habit, maybe day 1 would be laying out your exercise gear. If you want to learn to play the guitar, maybe the first step is just to pick up the guitar. If you want to build mindfulness into your day, maybe day 1 is properly noticing the taste of that first sip of tea. And then you slowly build up, using the 4 laws: ➡️ Make it obvious ➡️ Make it attractive ➡️ Make it easy ➡️ Make it satisfying And it works! Of the many books I have read since discovering coaching, this remains one of my favourites. Have you come across it? If so, what did you think? #atomichabits #habits #smallchangesmakeabigdifference

🎯Will help you master the business of video editing | Edited 200+ videos on YouTube | Building Deezaya Media
A month ago I got this book by recommendation, inorder to learn how to build good habits and therefore be more productive. Honestly, I learned a lot and the practical tips here have been working good for me. I was able to build a reading habit, exercising habit, meditation habit, and much more thanks to this book. I’m thinking of making a short video summarizing the book for those who can’t make time to read it. Let me know in the comments section if that’s a video you’d be interested to watch ! #atomichabits
