⏰ Every Minute Counts! ⏰ Did you know that for every minute defibrillation is delayed, the chance of survival decreases by 10%? That's why having a defibrillator nearby is absolutely crucial during cardiac emergencies. 🚑❤️ Here are some eye-opening stats to highlight the power of defibrillators: -Immediate CPR and defibrillation within 3-5 minutes can increase survival rates from sudden cardiac arrest by up to 70%. - The ambulance service performed resuscitation in nearly 35,000 patients in England following an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Two thirds of cardiac arrests happened in men, and around 80% happened in the patient's usual residence. Quick access to a defibrillator can save lives! - Public access defibrillators (PADs) have been shown to significantly improve survival rates in community settings. At AED Defib Shop, we're dedicated to providing top-of-the-line defibrillators like our new ViVest model. Affordable, reliable, and easy to use, our vast range ensures there's always a model to suit your needs. Remember, in a cardiac arrest situation, every second truly matters. Equip your home, workplace, or community space with a defibrillator today and be a life-saver. As football season begins, it is is crucial for all teams, athletic directors, athletic trainers and coaches to have a well defined Emergency Action Plan (EAP) executed by first responders with confidence and proficiency utilizing a well maintained and routinely inspected AED that is rescue-ready. On Monday, January 2nd, 2023, professional football player Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills suffered sudden cardiac arrest, likely caused by Commotio Cortis (Commotio Cordis is a condition in which an abnormal heart rhythm (ventricular fibrillation) and cardiac arrest happen immediately upon an object striking the chest directly over the heart at a very critical time during a heartbeat). The primary reason Damar Hamlin is alive and well today is due to the NFL’s (EAP) that was executed with precision by well-trained, confident staff equipped with proven life-saving equipment, including an AED. Though an occurrence like Commotio Cordis is rare, Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is very common. The American Heart Association states that approximately 436,000 people die annually from SCA. 1,200 people will die today from SCA, as well as tomorrow and the next day and on and on. Many government agencies require fire extinguishers in every commercial building. Statistics show less than 1,000 people per year die from injuries sustained from a fire in a commercial building in the United States. The total number of fire deaths in the US is approximately 3,800 per year, thanks in part to the ubiquity of life-saving fire extinguishers. If only our society was as well-equipped to address cardiac related emergencies as it is to extinguish fires. If we had a 3-minute response time with confident and well-trained first responders with a proven life-saving AED, we could effectively increase the survival rate of SCA by at least 50%. Consider whether the places you frequent have an EAP and are proactively prepared to effectively respond to a medical emergency. My passion is to increase awareness and develop EAPs for every type of organization to address medical emergencies. I would be honored to develop a customized plan for you and your organization. Differences Between Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Heart Attack Sudden Cardiac Arrest: • Disruption of the heart’s electrical system • No warning signs • The heart suddenly stops functioning due to the heart no longer beating or experiencing dangerous rhythms, leading to no blood being pumped to the entire body. Heart Attack: • Blood flow disruption • Has early symptoms • Blood supply to the heart is reduced or blocked. The heart continues to beat until there is a disruption to the heart’s electrical system, which can also lead to sudden cardiac arrest. Quick Actions Can Save Lives: 1. Call 999 immediately (Malaysia) 2. Start CPR with chest compressions at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute 3. Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) if available

💔 Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the leading cause of death in the US, taking the lives of more than 356,000 people each year. Sudden Cardiac Arrest: 🚫 Is an electrical malfunction that causes the heart to suddenly/unexpectedly stop beating 🧒🧓Can happen at any age, including children and teens ⛔Person is not responsive and not breathing 🫁 Person may gasp or shake, as if having a seizure 🆘 CPR must be started immediately to triple the chance of survival 🫀 Using an AED is the only way to restart a heart Turn to 3DR Labs' Cardiac Center of Excellence for all your heart needs. Did you know that the "C" in CPR stands for "Cardiopulmonary"? This lifesaving technique focuses on the heart and lungs, helping to restore vital functions in emergencies. Developed in the 1960s, CPR has evolved to include hands-only methods, which are just as effective for adults experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. 🤝 HELPING YOU PROCURE THE BEST AED SOLUTION POSSIBLE 🤝 With the start of Heart Month underway, we'd like to raise your awareness about heart health and the importance of knowing how to respond to a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). One important component in promoting heart health is access to automatic external defibrillators (AEDs). Each year in the UK, over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur, yet fewer than one in 10 individuals manage to survive. This is partly attributable to the fact that public access defibrillators are employed in less than 10% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest incidents. We'd recommend you check out our Buyer's Guide to help you procure an AED solution that is tailored to your specific needs, whether you're a small business, a large corporation, a school, or a local community organisation to help save someone's life – https://hubs.la/Q02jkNdc0 Please follow our page to stay updated with the latest content, along with liking and sharing this post 🫶 #HeartMonth #NationalHeartMonth #AED #Defibrillator #CardiacArrest #CPR #FirstAid #FirstResponder #LifeSaver #RescueReady #PublicSafety #SaveALife #ReducingPreventableDeaths #Aero

Every year approximately 350,000 people in the U.S. suffer cardiac arrest, with 1% survival rate! This is due to the lack of AEDs and awareness, training and use. An AED, or automated external defibrillator, is a portable device designed to automatically analyze heart rhythms and deliver a shock to restore a normal heartbeat during cardiac arrest. These life-saving devices are easy to use and require no medical expertise, making them essential tools in the fight against sudden cardiac death. Of the approximately 350,000 people who suffer cardiac are our fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers, whose lives are suddenly cut short, leaving families devastated and forever changed. Tragically, only about 3,500 of these individuals survive, a mere 1% of those affected. This loss has a ripple effect through families and communities, impacting generations to come. By increasing the availability and use of AEDs in public spaces, we can dramatically improve survival rates. Studies show that if bystanders used AEDs on at least 40% of people who suffer cardiac arrests in public, an additional 1,700 lives could be saved each year. That's 1,700 more families who would not have to endure the heartbreak of losing a loved one. It's time to make AEDs as common as fire extinguishers and empower bystanders to take action in an emergency. Get trained in CPR and AED use, and be prepared to make a difference when it matters most. IDEAZ partnered with Defibtech 25 years ago (!) to develop their first AED and its is still a worldwide leader in AED's and can be found at Wholefoods and even Chicago O'Hare airport. 25 years of lifesaving is the highest honor our company could have wished for. #ideaz_design #AEDsSaveLives #CPRTraining #CardiacArrest #EveryLifeCounts #defibtech
