Understanding the world from your dog’s eyes is the key to unlocking unparalleled training success. Here’s why: 👁️ Perspective Matters: Seeing things from a dog’s viewpoint helps us tailor our training strategies to meet their needs, ensuring happier, more responsive companions. 👂 Communication is Key: By understanding their language, we foster better communication. It’s not just about commands; it’s about conversations. 💖 Strengthen Bonds: Training from their perspective builds trust and strengthens the bond between you and your furry friend, turning training sessions into bonding moments. 🔖 #PrecisionDogTrainingAcademy #EmpathyDrivenTraining #DogPerspective #EffectiveDogTraining #BondingThroughTraining #CustomizedDogTraining #DogBehaviorExperts #InTheirPaws #DogTrainingSuccess #JoinThePack

Horseplay and unsafe acts at work often stem from a combination of factors, including stress, boredom, and a lack of engagement. Employees may seek relief from the monotony of routine tasks or may not fully understand the risks associated with certain behaviors. Additionally, a workplace culture that prioritizes camaraderie and fun can sometimes blur the lines between appropriate and inappropriate behavior. To prevent horseplay and unsafe acts, employers can implement several strategies. First, fostering a strong safety culture is essential. This involves providing regular training sessions that emphasize the importance of safety protocols and the potential consequences of unsafe behavior. Encouraging open communication allows employees to express concerns and report unsafe actions without fear of retaliation. Moreover, introducing team-building activities that are both enjoyable and safe can help reduce the urge for horseplay by providing alternative outlets for social interaction. Recognizing and rewarding safe behavior can also reinforce positive habits. Lastly, managers should model appropriate behavior, demonstrating that while a fun workplace is valuable, safety should always be the priority. By addressing the root causes and actively promoting a culture of safety, organizations can significantly reduce instances of horseplay and unsafe acts. 👉🏽 #BehaviorBasedSafety: https://lnkd.in/gMeqfA4Z ⬇️ Download a FREE Microlearning Topical Overview on us ✅: https://lnkd.in/gjY7EYTK #horseplay #unsafeacts #safetyculture #situationalawareness #safetytraining

🔥New Video Series🔥 We have been asked numerous times about obedience/functional control in Detection dogs. So we have teamed up with Forrest Micke for an educational series of videos. Part 1 shows you how to use food to develop head and body awareness in your dog. This makes it easy for us to ‘power steer’ them into our leg. Then we add hand games and footwork to teach our dog to always seek the leg even as we add challenges, like the introduction of remote rewards. By the end of Part 1 expect your dog to have a clear idea of contact heeling and for you the handler to have the confidence to practice this training across new environments. Part 2 will be out in a few months as well as Videos with Natalie Morris covering positions of place or waiting when functionally needed when working with you dogs and you need to step away from the dog or stop the dog in a position. Then we will have a video with Florian Schneider who will show you how to use the “Middle position” as another functional tool for reward or start and finish place for search work. Go check out Part 1 right now using the link below!! https://lnkd.in/gdqVMDxE

In dog training, I've adopted a unique approach that is a core skill to my success: focus on the human first. While traditional methods often prioritize understanding the dog’s behavior and routine, I've found that addressing the human's daily life, goals, and frustrations first leads to more effective results. This human-first strategy reflects that a dog's behavior often mirrors their owner's emotional state. Address the human and you will address the dog. #DogTraining #HumanFirstApproach #BehavioralInsight #TrainingSuccess
