Do you need Germ-Free Confirmation? Germ-Free animal are a great tool in studying the microbiome and how it interacts with the mammalian model. Bacteria are ubiquitous and can enter a germ free system. If that happens any results could be invalidated. Regular testing can confirm the absence of bacteria, ensuring validity of the experiments.
