Description: The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s Quality of Life Grants Program offers crucial support to nonprofits and other institutions dedicated to improving the lives of people living with paralysis, along with their families and caregivers.
· Direct Effect Grants: Ranging from $5,000 to $24,999, these grants are flexible and support a broad spectrum of projects that directly benefit individuals living with paralysis and their families.
· Priority Impact Grants: Offered at three funding levels, these grants target specific priority areas:
o Assistive Technology, Disaster Preparedness, and Respite/Caregiving: Up to $30,000
o Racial Equity, and Rural, Unserved, and Underserved Populations: Up to $40,000
o Employment and Nursing Home Transition: Up to $50,000
Eligibility: Grants are available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, municipal and state governments, and other institutions focused on meeting the needs of those living with paralysis due to spinal cord injuries, diseases, or birth conditions.
