The Blackburn Rovers Community Trust Wellbeing Hub at Ewood Park, housed within the Darwen End Stand, is a vital resource offering a range of health and wellbeing services in a warm, non-clinical environment. The hub is committed to providing accessible support for individuals seeking mental health services, as well as a communal space for students. Through our Wish List Programme, we have donated pre-loved furniture that will play a crucial role in enhancing the space's functionality, comfort, and inclusivity. "We are deeply grateful to The Senator Group for its generous contribution to the Community Wellbeing Hub. Their donation has had a lasting positive impact on the individuals who access our services and the students who rely on the space. The collaboration between The Senator Group and our community highlights the importance of partnerships that prioritise comfort, inclusivity, and wellbeing."

At Hyve, we’re committed to investing 1% of our profits annually into two community projects. And the best part? Our colleagues drive this meaningful change by nominating projects that mean something to them. Anna Bailey, Senior Content Producer for Bett, connected with 2econd Chance at our Bett Global show - a charity tackling e-waste by refurbishing computers while providing work-based training for people with disabilities and those furthest from the job market. Through this partnership, we’re funding eight bursaries for their training programme and supporting the refurbishment of 50 laptops to be donated to those who need them most. Listen to 2econd Chance’s story – an inspiring example of turning e-waste into opportunity and empowerment! 💚♻️💻 #Sustainability #socialimpact #ESG #communityengagement #LifeAtHyve

Parenting is no easy task; doing it alone poses unique challenges. Among them, managing household expenses on a single income and securing affordable, stable housing often top the list. 🏘️💰 Research shows that these struggles are all too common, yet tragically overlooked by society at large. As we build tech solutions for life’s challenges, let’s not forget the key role affordable housing plays in enabling single parents to thrive. This calls for a collective responsibility, one that stretches beyond individual efforts to encompass businesses, organizations, and society as a whole. If you've questioned the impact of your organization's charity goals or social responsibility efforts, consider redirecting focus towards supporting single parents. Support can range from providing affordable housing solutions, donating, or simply spreading awareness 📣 about the plight of single parents. Start by following us https://lnkd.in/gvSp_HKx and liking 👍 our posts to raise awareness. Every like, share and comment adds up - all these 'simple acts' go a long route in our fight to secure #AffordableHousing and support #SingleParents. How can you provide a sense of safety for foster youth in your care? One of the most important roles that you will play as a foster parent is to ensure that the youth in your care truly feel like they are welcomed and are in a safe environment. It can be unsettling and jarring to move to a new place, and for our youth, this type of change might also be triggering or upsetting. That is why it is so vital to stick to routines, have a clear and open line of communication, and always keep things consistent whenever possible. However, should you ever need to implement a change, try to give the youth a heads-up. It's all about building trust and ensuring they know they're valued and understood. Today we're shining a spotlight on another of our incredible Sleepout attendees and fundraisers, giving their time, and mobilising the support of their community to get behind RESTART Lives and help to protect and empower the most vulnerable members of society. Theo will be there alongside the RESTART team and community, sleeping outside in potential sub zero temperatures on December 6th, and is fundraising to support the ongoing work of our charity. Check out his JustGiving page to see more of his story and incredible progress - he's set a whopping target of £25,000 so consider helping him get over the line by donating any amount you can spare today. You can also see all the other Sleepers getting behind this event and our charity over on JustGiving. A recent Amnesty study showed that 77% of people believe homelessness is a top priority issue to address in the UK, and at the same time new government figures showed that we now having the highest rate of homelessness in terms of households anywhere in the developed world. If you want to be part of positive change, consider sleeping out https://lnkd.in/gURekGdC or donating to the cause today.
On December 6, am sleeping out to support Restart Lives. So grateful to all the friends who have so kindly and generously donated in support of the growing number of Londoners who have to sleep rough. It’s an amazing amount so far that will go a long way towards supporting this organisation, yet we have ground to cover next 4 weeks to get to our ambitious goal. Please take a minute to click on the link and read about it - and still time to register and join for the December 6 Sleep Out ! Thank you 🙏

Empowering Communities One Piglet at a Time with Sesera Youth’s Piglet Project In the spirit of community and shared prosperity, the Sesera Youth’s Piglet Project is not just about giving; it’s about creating a sustainable cycle of empowerment. Each family that receives a piglet from us takes on a journey of care and commitment. As these piglets grow and become parents themselves, the original family’s joy is doubled as they extend this gift to two more families—each receiving one piglet. This isn’t just a project; it’s a promise—a promise of growth, support, and community resilience. With every new litter, the promise is renewed, and more families are welcomed into a circle of support that keeps on expanding. Imagine the impact: one piglet becomes many, and those many piglets continue to nurture new lives, new hopes, and new dreams. This is the vision of the Sesera Youth’s Piglet Project, where every contribution is a seed for tomorrow’s harvest. Join us in this beautiful journey of giving and growth. Be a part of a movement that’s more than charity—it’s a legacy of love and life that keeps on giving.

Help communities get seen! 💙 Celebrate the season of giving by supporting initiatives that make a difference in people's lives. Any contribution will help advance social progress across the world. If you donate $250 or more, as a thank-you, you'll receive an exclusive art piece with a unique design inspired by the dimensions of social progress created by Carl Nelson and donated by Better Future for All. About the artwork: Each section represents a dimension of the Social Progress Index: Basic Human Needs, Foundations of Wellbeing, and Opportunity. These dimensions consist of four components that are built by four pieces in the puzzle, like the building blocks of a thriving society. Each piece can be pulled apart where you can learn more about the Social Progress Index framework. This way, you can give a different shape to the art piece. With its dynamic design, the “Shapes of Social Progress” reminds us that every piece matters.
