Short version: there is NO situation or circumstance where pedophilia is even remotely defensible. Not only is it a crime against children, but against humanity. As far as the political party reference, that party is the one that introduced this. You can judge them yourselves. I just strongly feel this must be exposed. If you doubt my sincerity visit my home page and check out the stuff I have volunteered for. I will never back off on combatting violence against the helpless. Children and animals are the prime examples. I am also one of the few men who have been allowed in a secret shelter for women and children suffering from abuse. I hope this clears the previous post up and expresses my intent in a more appropriate way. Short version: that stuff REALLY sets me off.

Save the date! 🕒 For the 19th consecutive year, on September 4, NNEDV will conduct our Domestic Violence Counts Survey: a one-day, unduplicated count of adults and children seeking domestic violence services in the United States. This annual survey documents the number of people who sought services in a single 24-hour period, as well as the types of services requested, the number of service requests that went unmet due to a lack of resources, and the issues and barriers domestic violence programs face in providing services to victims. Each year, our Domestic Violence Counts Report summarizes this data and is instrumental in raising awareness about domestic violence and the incredible work local domestic violence programs do every day, providing lifesaving services to survivors and their families. This week is #KnifeCrimeAwarenessWeek and we are standing with The Ben Kinsella Trust to highlight the brutal reality of knife crime. Our crews witness the devastating impact of knife-related incidents across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Have you or someone you know been affected by knife crime in these counties? We would like to hear your stories. Together, we can start conversations to raise awareness, collaborate with other organisations, and develop strategies to protect young people and keep them safe. It’s time to face this crisis head-on. By sharing experiences, raising awareness, and uniting with other organisations, we can develop strategies to protect our young people and keep them safe. Let’s take a stand and help prevent knife crime. #staysafe #endknifecrime #savelives

There are an estimated 49.6 million people in slavery globally. That could be someone on your doorstep. It could be someone in your local car wash, nail bar, care home, or building site. It could be the person you see walking every day who’s being trafficked, that girl smiling, being exploited or the family around the corner who was promised a better life in the UK. These victims are around us, and we can do something to help. We can be the force for freedom. We can educate. We can report. We can stop. We ask everybody for your help to combat modern slavery, raise awareness and be aware of the signs. You never know. Your observations could be what it takes to free a victim from the grips of this horrendous epidemic. If you think someone may be a victim of modern slavery, call the 24/7 modern slavery and exploitation helpline on 08000 121 700. Together, we can strive to be the generation that ends modern slavery for future generations to come. #modernslavery #educateyourself #theantislaverycollective

Take time out your day for this important read.
Read this excellent piece about our Associate Director of Crisis Prevention & Response Unit (CPRU) Rodney Phillips. Through his invitation to the White House Rodney's community violence intervention work not only shines throughout our city but throughout our nation. https://lnkd.in/gd3d7x4K
