In this episode of The Classroom 2 Courtroom Podcast, we dive into how attorneys handle client consultations. At the end of a meeting, if the case isn't within the firm's scope, the attorney will politely suggest a more suitable type of law firm, whether it's family law, criminal law, or another specialty. However, if the case is a good fit, the attorney will explain the next steps, usually involving a Client Services Agreement (CSA) and a retainer fee. While this process might vary between firms, this is how it typically works in our firm. Want to learn more about how attorneys decide which cases to take on? Listen to the full episode!
