Each project we are involved in teaches us something new and Pokemon Go was no exception. Not only Pokemon is a big IP that requires skill, experience and hard work, but also it has been a fundamental part of our personal history growing up. To live up to the expectations of our inner child and to the countless fun hours spent during our childhood was the real challenge. I’m happy to share lessons we learned from getting to this milestone both professionally and in a personal dimension: - Keep going. Eventually through hard work, focus and consistency, the opportunities will meet you at your personal path. - Be sincere with each effort you do, push the ideas you believe in and justify your work with passion. Again, Pokemon is not just part of our most cherished memories but it is also a part of the rest of the gaming community. It is wise to feel like a fan but it’s also wise to act a as a professional. - Finally, embrace the creative commitment for the piece. Yes, Pokemon means a lot of stuff to us, from spending time with friends and families, getting excited to catch em all and to sing along to all the Pokemon’s names in an epic rap. But this particular TVC is not about that specifically but it is about the wider picture and because of that, there’s a creative brief that fills in the gaps of our particular experience. We are thrilled to think of what’s coming next for us in the next adventures but for now, we’ll spend some time at Kanto, having fun and enjoying playing some music with a pokeflute. #pokemongo #filmscore #tvc #production #creativity #videogame #gamedev
