👉 How healthy is your PeopleSoft? 👀 📊 In the development of our observability solution focused on PeopleSoft we do not only focus on availability and performance, but also on the functional and technical health of the application itself. And with health, in this case, I’m referring to the state of the application instead of the health scores we use as mentioned in previous posts. In the technical area we run checks to analyse the configuration of the system on the PeopleTools level, monitor Integration Broker, the Process Scheduler and for example the Life Cycle Management state of the system. While in the functional area we run checks on the functional (application level) setup and monitor for transactions that got stuck in interface or staging tables. Please send me your genuine candidate on my email ID karthik@ritwikinfotech.com, Job title : ORACLE HCM TECHNO-FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT Location : Remote Duration: Long Term Job Description: We are currently using the Infor-Lawson S3 Human Resource Information System (HRIS) application ver.10, with a significant number of customizations, and Landmark running on IBM AIX Unix 7.1 platform. We are also using Lawson Business Intelligence and Crystal Reports. The HRIS application includes Absence Management, Benefits, Human Resources, Payroll, Personnel, and Time & Attendance. We developed a customized “time and attendance” application to record employee attendance and produce time records for payroll processing. This application is designed using the Lawson application development work bench platform. It is integrated within the core Lawson application suite. We are also using Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) utilizing the Oracle Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Cloud Platform. The functional scope for Oracle ERP Cloud is financials and supply chain management (Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable, Advanced Procurement, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Accounting, Inventory, Procurement, Projects and Grants, and Sourcing). We are in the process of migrating from the Infor-Lawson Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud applications. We need a contractor to address reporting development, data reconciliation, and data analysis relevant for the Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). Using Microsoft Excel, Infor Lawson data, Oracle Cloud Fusion Business Intelligence, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (BI & OTBI). RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to recommend the most suitable methods of data extraction and comparison. • Ability to identify and understand the different data formats and structures from Infor Lawson and Oracle Cloud Fusion HCM systems. • Develop and generate reports that effectively and clearly present the comparison of data converted from each source system. • Tailor the reports to allow Functional users to easily understand the highlighted data differences • Ensure that all data is reviewed, not just subsets of the data. • Document what tables and fields are being compared

Leads & Whales pt1. I once picked up a lead about a PeopleSoft Financials 7.5 role at Rockwell in Rotterdam. I personally made approx. £100k from this lead. My days were structured in two parts, one was speaking to candidates and the other clients. Clients were split into two power hours, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, these were always done standing up, bouncing on my tiptoes, some colleagues would not so politely comment that I looked like I needed a wee. Candidate focus was picking up leads, resourcing, and updating the CRM. I had two ways of picking up leads. I would either ask outright, or I'd just ask question after question, relentlessly, until they gave in, defeated and deflated, they'd surrender the name of the client... We didn't have LinkedIn, so finding the best person to speak to was very much like being a detective. You'd call the reception number, and ask to speak to the PeopleSoft Team or PeopleSoft Project Manager. If this didn't work, you might try the Financial Controller or Director etc etc I remember chasing the Rockwell lead, the Dutch receptionist was getting more and more frustrated with me and my persistence, all she wanted to do was answer the other ten calls that lit up her reception like a Christmas tree.... FFS, looking back, I was an annoying little oink, but I didn't care, I was on a mission and nothing was going to stop me from getting through to the person who held the purse strings, definitely not a gatekeeper. I finally got through to a very blunt French man called Patrick, who cut me off midway through my elevator pitch about being a specialist PeopleSoft Recruiter..... "can you supply OtC people?", he said flatly. This was a term I was unfamiliar with, so in response, I stammered and blurted out "urrrm, SoftPeople....." and the phone went dead..... I was left holding the receiver to my ear feeling pretty dumb.... I got straight onto Ask Jeeves (for you gen x people, google it), but it's when a search engine was just a search engine, and didn't try and control every aspect of life. OtC meant Order to Cash. It turned out that Rockwell wasn't just implementing Financials 7.5, but was also implementing the Order Management, Inventory, and Procurement modules and this was one of the first sites in Europe to do it. It took me two days to get through to Patrick, but this time I was armed and ready! He picked up the phone abruptly, probably with the knowledge that I'd left 247 messages for him in the last 48 hours. Before he could say anything, I shouted involuntarily "Order-to-cash, commonly abbreviated as OTC or O2C, refers to all the steps involved in processing customer orders from the moment a customer places the order to when payment is received and applied to accounts receivable!" I then went on to start explaining the textbook definition of Purchase to Pay (PtP), but he cut me off and gave me 6 Contract roles, I placed them all.... Whales to follow.....
