The go to person to TEACH athletes, coaches, educators & parents how to reach peak performance, build confidence & achieve goals! Workshops, Speaking Engagements, Coaching, & Courses *Professional Development Speaker
❤️Next time your daughter hops in the car and starts sharing about her frustration, ask her: Do you want to vent or do you want advice? *Whatever she says, give it to her. I know it’s hard not to fix it! ❤️ One more tip: if she’s getting ready for a tryout or next season, remind her to focus on what her strengths are NOT her weaknesses! Focus on the process-the day to day training and how all of her hard work and wins {no matter how small} are stacking up instead of focusing on the end goal of the tryout or the season as a whole! 🏆❤️ Check out this sneak peek in the comments if you’re looking for more ways to tap into the CHAMPION WITHIN HER! 🏆❤️

Day 3 of the Hahn-Mason Air Systems Inc Mt Mitchell Challenge = 9,780 steps for this guy. It’s short of my goal - but that’s ok, as things happen. However, I found some success, as I made good use of one of the least productive parts of my day - carpool line! As a parent of two Elementary school-age kids, I lose tremendous productivity waiting to pick up my kids in the afternoon. It’s maddening. You all know the deal … do you get there early and wait, or do you arrive later and risk the kids being annoyed that they are one of the last kids picked up? As my day unfolded, I had a break in my routine and decided to get there early. Typically, I’d mess around on my phone, just sitting there doing mindless activities. At any rate, instead of doing the usual, I parked the car in line and proceeded to walk up and down the sidewalk to get my steps in. I would have been even further behind my step goal if I had not done that. Progress! My why for today is that I’m doing this for healthy competition and accountability to my team. Healthy competition is fun! We have nine internal HMI teams, and everyone on my team is not only participating, they are thriving and making healthy choices a priority. I don’t want to let my team down! After the first two days, my team is in first place, and we want those bragging rights.

Welcome to another Sunday Goalpost! This past week, I made the goal of working out 5 days. Well, we had an absolute HEAT wave going on in New Hampshire, but I was still able to get my goal. How did I make sure I hit my goal? 1. I took it one day at a time making sure each day had forward progress 2. I reflected at the end of each day on hitting my daily target 3. I made sure I allowed my body proper rest It was difficult to do, but now as we hit another Sunday, I feel great about the week. This upcoming week, I have two big goals and neither have a THING to do with work. This is my first full week off in over a year. Yes...you read that correctly. That wasn't exactly a goal, but a refresh is something we should all do. My goals for this week are to complete some house projects that I have been putting off for TOO long. I want to finish putting my closet together, organize my basement, and purge some old stuff I no longer need. The other goal? PICKLEBALL!!! 🥒 I have some friends in town that have asked me to play and I'm doing it. That's the goal! 💡 What is your goal(s) for the week? 💡 How did you do with last week's goals?
