If you're a slow starter try incorporating a longer warmup and make it extremely intense. The more you can replicate a match-scenario before the match starts, the quicker you can start 🙌 #tennis #tennisplayers #TennisCoach #TennisCoaching

Be sure to watch until the end to understand why it's important to serve more during practice. Also, try serving more frequently during practice sessions, with 5-10 serves during breaks between other drills. This way, you'll create a situation similar to actual matches. Of course, you should also have dedicated serving practices where you serve 150-200 times in a row, but it's also important to serve in sets since that's closer to match conditions. #tennis #tennisserve #tenniscoach

One of the most important things is to get your heart rate up and be mentally and physically prepared to start fast. If your warm up is slow, you're going to react and respond slowly when you get on the court. It's so important that we bring high intensity to our warm up. Do these drills just prior to going on court to make sure you are ready to explode once your match starts 💥 #tennis #TennisCoach #tennisplayer #tennispro #tennislife

Find the style that suits your physical limitations (if you have any). Optimally, you want to hit all serves from 12. However, 12 o’clock on flat and slice serve requires coming out of a backward bend that some players can’t execute. On the kick, it’s easier since you stay sideways. I’ve been tossing at 1 (I used to toss at 12), which has worked well. #tennistechnique #tennisplayer #tenniscoach #tenniscoaching #tennis
