The Webb Law Firm attorney and partner, Ann Cannoni, has been named President of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) USA & Canada for 2023-2024. Ann has served on the LES Board of Directors since 2020. An LES member for more than 10 years, Ann also served as a Chair for Membership, and a Chair for the LES Physical Sciences (formerly Chemicals, Energy, Environment and Materials) Sector Committee. For almost 60 years, LES has been a leading association for licensing, business development, intellectual property and technology professionals. LES brings licensing and IP professionals together to network, collaborate and discuss important issues facing industry. LES USA & CA is a member society of the Licensing Executives Society International, Inc. (LESI), which has 32 sister societies representing 6,000 members in 90 countries.  Ann’s practice involves all aspects of intellectual property (IP) protection and monetization. She advises clients on IP, patent and transactional matters across a wide range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, medical devices and mechanical devices.
