How is your GOAL achieving going friends? Welcome February! I hope this short reel will help you and remind you how important it is to write daily, review each week, and reflect on your previous month's goals, struggles, victories, and accomplishments. Not only that, you need to keep on writing your yearly themes, yes themes / from previous years too/ EVERY SINGLE DAY otherwise, whats the point of doing something for 1 year only and forget about it the next year❗️ Out of sight, out of mind ❗️ This exercise helped our family tremendously ❗️We have been sticking habits, rituals, and great thoughts ❗️ Keep on writing your main goals or have a file pinned into your computer's toolbar for quickly review ❗️That’s what I have. This will allow you to stay focused on your vision ❗️because I know that you want more out of your life, right ✅️ ❓️ You want things to be different ❓️So change the RESPONSES to the same EVENTS, then you will have a different outcome ❗️ It's a simple formula ❗️❗️❗️❗️ E + R = O If you wake up each day and keep on repeating the same mistakes, you will have the same outcome. So, change just a little bit today ❗️ Maybe, it will be checking those goals you have written last year.. Maybe, it will be ordering that healthy salad at lunch instead of unhealthy fried chicken Maybe, it will be saying No to someone instead of always pleasing them .. You can apply anything here... If you want to find out more tools, check out my podcast and watch this full episode https://lnkd.in/gn7wk8UV Xoxo 😘 .and of course share this reel with a friend 🧡 #goals #daily #weekly #monthly #write

Coaching high-performing women to turn their ideas into successful ventures and impactful podcasts | Top-ranked Late Learner Podcast | Keynote speaker | Personal & Business Brand Strategy Sales & Mentor
How much time have you spent perfecting that PPT prezo? Or making sure your elevator pitch is TIGHT for the mind-numbing networking events? Why do we apologize that we have a broken nail? Or that our car is filthy or our house is messy (when it's clear you have kids and toys)? You can never get a second chance to make that first impression. What is that stupid saying? Perfectionism has gotten a bad rap. And what if it's time to rethink it into a more adaptive (vs. maladaptive way)? I got a chance to talk to the author and renowned therapist of the award-winning book, The Perfectionists Guide to Losing Control, Katherine Morgan Schafler on the Late Learner Podcast. A new perspective and a fun quiz to find out what your distinct type of perfectionism could be! (Mine is Messy Perfectionist - it's almost eye-rollingly accurate). As always, links in the link: https://lnkd.in/ePPesqMu

The blog you start never has to leave your computer. You don’t have to show anyone the pictures you draw. No-one needs to listen to the podcast you record. The book you write needn’t have a single reader. You can set the visibility of your video to private. We use fear of what others might say or think to stop us creating our work, but what if we promised ourselves up front that no-one ever has to see the work we create ? Would that make it easier to begin…? . . (p.s. There is a library of these Daily Posts over at our website williamhannah.com and you can even sign up to have them sent directly to your inbox - because everyone should get at least one inspiring e-mail each day....) #inspiration #personalgrowth #positivemindset #journaling

Three things to know about me: - always reading - always learning - always talking So I combined all three and launched a podcast! 🎙 Broken Spine Social Club is 1/4 amateur literary analysis, 3/4 fun conversation between buds. Each week, I sit down with one of my pals to talk through their favorite book. In just 7 episodes, we've covered everything from romantasy (romance-fantasy) to sci-fi, hard-hitting literary fiction to Harry Potter (and there's a lot more where that came from!) ✨ Learning to edit, analyze, and market a podcast means I'm staying sharp in terms of skill acquisition (and my content clients reap the benefits of all this upskilling!) Click the link below to tune in (we're live wherever you get your podcast fix!) and don't forget to follow / subscribe! Happy listening, happier reading 📚

Content, Copy, and Lead-Gen for 6- and 7-figure Startups and Personal Brands | $1M+ worth of leads generated | 1M+ impressions achieved through organic content.
If you’re not getting good ideas to post about... Then it means you aren’t curious enough. There’s no shortage of ideas in the world. Pick out any: - Book - Article - Podcast And start writing down your main takeaway every 25 minutes of intake. You’ll generate a month's worth of ideas through this alone. (And not rely on generic ideas through GPT). That’s what I do with my clients at BeFound Social. - I have an initial 1-hour ghostwriting call. - I ask them about their backstory/experience. - I have follow-up questions to dig deeper. By the time we’re done, we have 1-2 months full of content ideas ready to be worked on. All because of curiosity. Find what interests you and learn more about it. It’s not that hard.

Lawyer Who Helps People & Businesses Protect Their Legacies Through Planning so They Can Focus on What Truly Matters to Them
𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠 I was catching up on Cal Newport's "Deep Questions" podcast this weekend and he had an interesting episode on 8 small habits for a deep life. It's not an exhaustive list, but it has 4 habits for work and 4 for personal. The one habit that stuck out to me was the 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸. Cal recommends having a small notebook for just one project/thing in your life that you're looking to solve. Whenever you're on a walk or have time to think about just that project, you can grab the notebook and get your ideas and thoughts out of your head. Cal recommends Field Notes (I'm a big fan of the brand) or any other similar-sized notebook that can fit in your pocket and be easily taken with you wherever you go. So now I've got a second notebook in my pocket (and am resisting the urge to add a 3rd for another project, but I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hold out on that front...). Have an important task but avoiding it? Here's what I did to solve that issue ASAP: Use deadlines. I started writing a guide about growing a podcast on social media but couldn't finish it. So I asked someone who might be interested in it, hoping that it might help me finish writing. He was interested and so the urgency kicked in! I sent it the next day and he was surprised by the quality and the amount of details in it. You can finish your next project/task using urgency: → Pick a date → Tell someone about it → Promise to show it to them on that day That's what Luke Eggebraaten did when he was writing his book. Luke wanted to speak at an event and mentioned that he wrote a book on the topic. But the book wasn't ready. The craziest part, he got the first copy a few days before the event 🤯 According to Luke, If not for what he said, his book would never be ready. Next time when you don't feel like finishing a task, add some urgency to it. P.S. If you're interested in reading a guide on optimizing your podcast on social media, let me know and I'll send it over :)

Author, The Book That (Almost) Got Me Fired: How I (Barely) Survived a Year in Corporate America. Legal content manager, word wrangler, 8-ball player, loud laugher, optimist, mom.
As a full-time freelancer for years (and who still continues to freelance part-time), the potential power of a pitch cannot be overstated. I wrote literally thousands of queries and LOIs (letters of introduction) to dozens of clients over the years. Pitching via LinkedIn is a little different. This is a great example of what to do--and not to do--when you're reaching out to a "cold" contact. Thanks, Candyce. Edelen for your thoughtful and helpful analysis of this email. #writing #freelancewriting #contentwriting
Human2Human approach to book sales calls and fill your pipeline via LinkedIn. No pushy tactics, no cold calling, #nobots. CEO, PropelGrowth
This was a well-done, #humantohuman cold email. First, it starts with a subject line that is very personal. That got me to open his email. Then his first paragraph makes it clear he either listened to the podcast or took the time to have AI review the transcript. Regardless, it was very effective. His next paragraph, expressing surprise by not being able to find a book by me was well done. He should have ended the email with that question "Do you have a book and I just totally missed it?" That would have prompted a conversation. And then we could have had some back and forth where he asked about my goals and timing. And then he'd have an opportunity to nurture a relationship. Instead, he pitched. At any given moment in time, about 3% of his target market is "in the market" for his services. That means that 97% of his TAM is likely to eventually be in market, but not now. I'm in his 97%. Eventually, I'll be looking. But because he went for the sale right away, my response was to shut down the conversation with "thanks, but I'm not interested." Going for the sale this early almost always results in shutting down a conversation. He might get the interest of the 3%. But he loses the opportunity to nurture a relationship with the 97% (including me.) Consequently, when I am ready, it's unlikely that I will remember him or his company. ~~~~~~ I post #mondaymarkups every Monday. The hashtag will help you find other posts in the series. .

Helping leaders publish anti-boring books to build a legacy | Thought Partner | Book Coach | Editor | Ghostwriter
How can you get unstuck in the next 5 minutes? When clients tell me they feel stuck with their writing, I offer suggestions based on where they are and what they have tried before. It’s normal to feel stuck, and everyone feels that way sometimes. You can use these ideas for ANYthing–whether writing or not. ✅Chop up your tasks! Break that big task up into smaller chunks and celebrate finishing each one. ✅Have a conversation The other night, we gathered with around 20 people for dinner. Mostly, we’d never met before. By asking questions and listening, my mind was opened up to new topics and even new ways of thinking. ✅Go somewhere You could take a walk where you live or go on a short trip. A fresh environment can stimulate new thinking. ✅Move Even jumping jacks or a short walk moves the blood around and reduces stagnant thinking. ✅Listen to something new Choose a podcast, music, show, or movie you normally wouldn’t watch. See what happens. ** Howdy! I’m Deborah Ager, a nonfiction book coach.
