Other actions can be necessary, enhancing internet and technological infrastructure to ensure wider access to AI tools and benefits, encouraging and funding local AI innovations to address specific regional challenges and needs. In summary, AI has the potential to bring significant benefits to the developing world, but it also poses substantial risks. Balancing these aspects requires thoughtful policy-making, investment in education and infrastructure, and a commitment to ethical AI practices.
AI is already well established in the working world. It’s results are demonstrated in the changinfpf fast food industry, the sorting and transport indusrry, manufacturing, and with farm equipment. The resulting reduction of labor, increase in quality, and reliability is vert easy to document.
