Unpopular opinion: Much discussion surrounds GenZ's disengagement from consulting. I have a different perspective. Your first job shouldn't be the theme-park-like experience social networks often promote. Instead, it should resemble a bootcamp where you gain essential business skills, critical thinking, discipline, and a seal of approval. Very rapidly. There is no better bootcamp in the world than large consulting firms. However, the key to feeling engaged and finding fulfillment lies in selecting your seniors carefully. Seek out those who roll up their sleeves, dive into the trenches with you, and provide crucial air cover when the going gets tough. That´s the secret.

This honest conversation not only set realistic expectations but also highlighted the diversity and adaptability required in the field. Diverse Roles and Specializations: Delving into the different types of Management Consulting roles was akin to unlocking a treasure trove of possibilities. Developing Solutions Mastership holder 2022/23 | MSc. Logistics and Supply Chain Management|Supply Chain Management| Procurement| Just-In-Time
My recent learning journey has significantly deepened my understanding of the consulting world. I've come to realize that consulting firms seek the brightest minds to tackle real-world challenges. Through this experience, I’ve had the opportunity to expand my LinkedIn network with consultants from around the globe. Interestingly, there isn't a single definition that captures the essence of a management consultant. Over the past few months, I’ve developed a solid grasp of problem-solving by working on numerous case studies. What stands out is that there’s no definitive right or wrong answer; it’s all about the approach and understanding of the problem. #Consulting #ManagementConsulting #ProblemSolving #CaseStudies #ConsultingInsights #Networking #ProfessionalDevelopment #GlobalNetwork
