If you wait until you need help to ask for it, it's already too late. So if you're planning any sort of renovation project or you're putting an offer in on a house, you want to make sure that you're reaching out to your contacts as soon as possible to get them all lined up. So before you even put an offer on a house, you should reach out to your home inspector and the person doing your appraisals to make sure that they're actually available within that two to three-week timeline. Whatever you put in your offer for conditions. And then you also want to make sure that you reach out to your contractor seeing if they're available to come out. And do a quick inspection with you so you can get some rough numbers for your renovation budget. And then also make sure that when you close on the property in 60 or 90 days from now that they're actually going to be available to do the work. Because there's no point in getting them to bid on the project and give you a price for it if they're not going to be available for 3456 months down the road.
