Gave a try to Runway Gen-3-Alpha Video-to-video. Converting some Quake speedrun to Apex Legend and some Mario to Rayman. Quite impressive overall! I am seeing a LOT of posts in my feed about Sora and people gushing over how amazing it is. I agree, it is a tremendous leap forward for text-to-video. However, looking closely at the clips OpenAI has shared, here are my observations: • Arm lengths on the people are strange, seem a bit too long. • The gait of people walking is not completely natural, sometimes it looks too fast or the strides cover too much ground. • The eyes seem unfocused in the people and the animals. • There is no relationship/reaction between the people/animals and their environments. Interested in seeing how two ‘characters’ interact when they come into contact in a scene. Of the examples on their website, for me, the cliffs and ocean and the underwater footage seem to be the most realistic.
