Shobana Kamineni’s Insights on Tech, AI & Leadership at WEF 2025 "A lot happened at the World Economic Forum. The anticipation for the #UnionBudget among the Indian contingent was palpable. But what has stayed with me: 1) Benioff’s words – "Today's CEOs are the last generation to manage an all-human workforce" – couldn’t agree more. The near future will be straight out of a sci-fi movie. 2) The candid, polarizing address by Donald J. Trump - making his presence felt from miles away. 3) But most importantly – the very real impact of AI and tech on all our lives. The onus is on us to put the right checks and balances so that we harness the good of AI vs succumbing to its power. However, having heard all voices, I'm convinced that AI can, and will, become a great unifier for humanity. With more collaborative global regimes, breakthrough in tech and greater intent, I’m rooting for a more peaceful, connected and prosperous world." #AI #Leadership #Tech #ApolloHospitals #TouchingLives #WEF #Insights #Innovation #HealthCare #Technology

AI and the Future of Our Economy: Highlights from Davos 2025 At the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos this year, one topic stood out: AI and its role in reshaping the global economy. Leaders, innovators, and thinkers from around the globe gathered to talk about what’s next in this rapidly changing world. Why AI is a Big Deal AI is no longer just a fancy term—it’s changing how industries work, creating opportunities for growth, and even redefining jobs. At Davos, it was shared that AI could potentially boost global growth by 0.8%. That’s huge! But here’s the catch—it’s not automatic. For countries and companies to benefit, there’s a lot of groundwork needed. What Needs to Be Done Leaders at the event talked about how we need: Better education systems to prepare people for AI-driven jobs. Stronger infrastructure to integrate these technologies. Clear and ethical policies to ensure AI helps, not harms, society. It’s not just about letting technology run wild; it’s about preparing for its impact responsibly. Working Together is Key This year’s theme, “Collaboration for the Intelligent Age,” couldn’t have been more on point. The message was clear: no single country or company can tackle the challenges (or reap the rewards) of AI alone. We need to share ideas, resources, and solutions to navigate this AI-driven future together. Why It Matters AI isn’t just about robots or automation—it’s about shaping how we live and work in the years to come. And while the possibilities are exciting, it’s up to all of us to make sure we’re ready for it. The conversations at Davos are a reminder: we can embrace the future, but we need to do it thoughtfully and together. #AI #Davos2025 #FutureOfWork #GlobalGrowth #TechnologyForGood

AI is moving from algorithms to impact, and the conversations we had at Davos 2025 proved that its future lies in collaboration, responsibility, and human ingenuity. As I shared in my overview, the discussions at Davos revolved around one pressing question: 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞, 𝐚𝐬 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭? The answer emerges through compelling insights, such as those shared by THE AI ANDY FITZE 🧠⛵: "AI extends beyond algorithms and data, reimagining possibilities where human creativity meets machine intelligence.”🧠 It was absolutely inspiring to hear global leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries come together to address the challenges and opportunities AI brings to industries, societies, and individuals. The emphasis on collaboration - between nations, industries, or communities - was especially strong. From governing 21st-century technology with 21st-century laws to leveraging open-source innovation, the conversations highlighted how we must rethink our relationship with technology. I firmly believe that 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐈 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 – 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝.🌍 To all who share this belief, my dear audience, I encourage you to read the full article and join the dialogue! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dh2k7yiB We must continue to work on a future where AI is not just a tool for efficiency but rather a co-pilot in creating a more inclusive, ethical, and innovative world.🤝 #AI #Leadership #Collaboration #Davos2025 #SwissCognitive #ShareForSuccess SwissCognitive | AI Ventures, Advisory & Research

Geopolitics is now a top 3 CEO priority, and 2025 is shaping up to be the year of the AI agents. Hear how these topics are driving conversations in Davos at #wef25 ⬇️ #McKinseyAtDavos
Two key topics are dominating every conversation at #WEF25 in Davos: geopolitics and AI. Leaders are discussing not only resilience and tariffs but also how to reposition their institutions for value creation. On the AI front, the conversation has shifted dramatically. We're no longer talking about AI impacting 50% of jobs in 10 years; it will transform 100% of knowledge work, and it's happening now. Can CEOs use 2025 to achieve what historically 90% of companies have struggled to do: drive value creation from technology? I’m looking forward to diving deeper into these topics and more this week. #McKinseyAtDavos

Long story short...Have a plan. Be resilient. Be productive. Be ready to transform again. AI, AI, AI, AI...
McKinsey Digital: While “uncertainty” is likely to remain a watchword for 2025, significant geopolitical and economic shifts as well as the relentless pace of technology (driven by “space-race” levels of investment in AI) suggest a year of significant changes. https://lnkd.in/gzB3kXQQ #2025Trends #TechInnovation

I attended the G20 side event promoted by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil, "Harnessing AI for Social Equity and Sustainable Development." My key takeaways about the current landscape of discussions around regulating AI: 1. AI is a tool after all, and its application is a choice—we should deploy it where it can effectively address challenges, and hold back where it falls short (not all problems need to become an AI problem); 2. We're governing an emerging technology without fully understanding how it works, making it challenging to translate well-intentioned principles into verifiable technical standards; 3. The discourse on AI is dominated by fears of misuse and risks, with a focus on creating universal frameworks that encompass all potential risks—from immediate threats like deepfakes to speculative existential dangers. A segmented and agile approach that allowed us to evolve the regulation as we actually navigate the challenges the technology use will impose us could be more pragmatic. 4. While much attention is paid to mitigating risks, there's insufficient discussion on leveraging AI's potential benefits for economy and society. 5. Ensuring AI's benefits are distributed equitably is vital. This involves preventing market monopolies, fostering scientific progress and open sharing, and providing universal access to computational resources, data, and skilled personnel. 6. Governments and local communities must tailor AI implementations to their specific needs to foster prosperity and well-being. Success hinges on two key factors: the availability of relevant local data and the development of local talent. While we may lack advanced hardware or models, robust local data and talent can still unlock most of the benefits. #ai #aigovernance #g20 #b20

The future of work isn’t coming — it’s here. The World Economic Forum 2025 Future of Jobs report makes it clear: 💥 86% of companies expect AI to reshape operations by 2030. 💥 170 million new jobs created. 92 million displaced. The takeaway? Change at this scale demands more than adopting tech. It requires a new way of operating — one where strategy and execution stay in sync as the landscape shifts. Most businesses still plan like the future is predictable. It’s not. It’s time to upgrade. A modern, Intelligent Operating Model keeps strategy and execution hyper-aligned, so you can shift, adapt, and lead as the landscape evolves. Because being ready for change isn’t just a mindset, it’s a system. Check out the WEF report here: https://lnkd.in/eAbYwrFP #Leadership #AI #FutureOfWork #Adaptability #WEF
