💫Whitney Houston - a Song Forever Our new mini-film👍 🎹 A heartfelt tribute to the legendary Whitney Houston, The Voice that defined generations. ⭐Through her #music, she touched souls, inspired millions, and left an everlasting #legacy. This short #film reflects on her #journey, her #passion, and her #wisdom about music, fame, and staying true to oneself. ✨Whitney’s light will never fade—her #voice will live forever. 💡Talking about the technical part: 1. For the original image generation I used Midjourney. 2. Magnific AI was used for the upscale the images. 3. Runway and Kling both were used to generate various videos. 4. For Lipsync of talking Whitney Houston I also used Runway. 5. The storytelling is performed completely by Whitney Houston's original voice, based on the biographical researches I made. Thanks to ElevenLabs I generated Whitney Houston's voice, hand-wrote a story script based on the researches I made, and converted the written script into Whitney Houston's voice. 6. Background Music: Wake the Wild - Struggle Bus - Instrumental Version. A big thanks to Artlist 8. Finally, Clipchamp was used to prepare the entire movie. 9. The key ingridients:❤️ #love + ⭐passion towards Whitney Houston! 10. I also would like to explicitly reference to Kevin Costner in the pre-last frame of the movie.

This music video and short film by Mayra Stark encapsulates the imagery and essence of the archetypal feminine and elemental watery essence that we desperately need right now to nourish the collective human species. Our planet is gravely ill, ravaged by relentless exploitation and destruction. We stand on the precipice of a man-made world war, driven by an excess of fiery masculinity and overly mental imbalance. This has led to tribal dominance and archaic financial structures that profit from war and disease. Our obsessive pursuit of linear progress, regardless of the cost, has resulted in a pathological man-ipulation of Mother Earth and human nature. Destructive technologies and biological weapons now threaten to annihilate all forms of life. The relentless exploitation of nature has made both the Earth and our own bodies catastrophically ill. Our survival, healing, and ability to thrive hinge on reconnecting with and honoring the feminine principle, the laws of nature, and the essential element of water. We must restore balance by embracing the primordial feminine essence of nature. The universal principle of creation is inherently feminine, as our spirits are born into physical form through the sacred waters of the womb. To heal, we must collectively shift from the mind to the heart, returning to the pulse of nature and the human spirit for the sake of future generations. The late Zulu elder Credo Mutwa spoke of this as a planetary need to move from the "warrior mind" to the "mother mind". The mother knows best, holding the keys and the remedies that can heal us through her natural medicines, aligning us with the universal heartbeat to achieve lasting unity, interdependence, and sustainable flourishing. I hope these ceremonial images are a stirring inspiration to meditate on how we might restore a fluid, graceful, and sacred balance in our organizations, culture, and goals by embodying more of the universal feminine principle. https://lnkd.in/eTxdZHn4

I'll echo Nick's comments & add a few of my own. Every speaker was fascinating, and each added another facet to the topic. We also need to recognise the contribution of PEARL UCL. This utterly unique, exquisitely designed facility not only inspires but validates the concepts we presented: that social design needs to address the entire human, that is, a being who breathes, smells, moves, craves and fears. Think kinaesthesia, proprioception: our bodily sense of space. Many of our sensory responses, & actions, are determined by modalities which operate outside the world of screens / sounds, and they're not captured by virtual models. And many of our differences - vital elements of social interaction - derive from these senses. Let's hope that PEARL becomes a worldwide model for architectural and civil planning. Every continent should have at least one.

Sunday ruminations... In some of my doctoral research I note the intentional theatricality of the modern international school 'experience'. I pose this is a hypernym of a number of contributing factors such as: uniform, ritual, architecture, branding, 'story' and more. I argue this is ultimately produced to ensure and increase profitability. I have just started Helen Nicholson's fantastic 'Theatre & Education' which details Howard Barker's (interesting bloke) 1997 cultural manifesto (pp. 7/8/9). There are, in my opinion, some immediate comparisons to be drawn from his reflections on theatre and iterations of education today. As you read the following quotes, I wonder if you, like I, could imagine international education being labelled the same way. Replace theatre with education, let me know what you think... "He states that today's theatre is sterile because it has become, respectively, either an industry with a market, or a social service with a popular obligation" "Barker paints a picture of a contemporary theatre that is responsive to a society 'obsessed with profit and enlightenment''" "he remains critical of a culture industry that is regulated by the power of the conscience or the demands of commerce" "a theatre that is driven by commerce...can succeed only in reproducing life as it is already known and understood" Professor Colin Beard Stephen Larsen David Willows Tristan Bunnell Kevin J Ruth #edchat #education #philosophy #theatre #experientialeducation

Theater Do you think theater is also a form of visual power culture? Stories can be told without images, it has always been that way throughout history, Do you think we can control the power of images because of the knowledge we now have about unity and discrimination in the misuse of visual power?

"Shifting the Narrative: Embracing Creativity with Joy and Resilience" 🌟 Embracing Creativity: Insights from Elizabeth Gilbert's TED Talk 🌟 Recently, I listened to a powerful TED Talk by Elizabeth Gilbert, where she shared her journey as a writer and the profound fears that often accompany the creative process. Her reflections resonate deeply with my work at PalaScribe, where we strive to support underprivileged artists in navigating their own creative paths. Gilbert discusses the weight of expectations placed on writers and artists, highlighting how our society often equates creativity with suffering. This is a narrative that can stifle artistic expression, as individuals grapple with the fear of failure and the pressure to replicate past successes. Yet, as Gilbert suggests, there is a healthier perspective to adopt, one that allows for creativity to be seen as a collaborative dance with inspiration, rather than a solitary burden. At PalaScribe, we aim to create an environment where artists can thrive without the fear of judgement or inadequacy. By providing resources, mentorship, and a community of support, we help artists embrace their unique voices and creative processes. Just as Gilbert references the ancient Greeks and Romans who viewed creativity as a divine gift rather than a personal obligation, we believe in fostering a sense of wonder and possibility within each artist we support. By empowering artists to connect with their creativity in a joyful and sustainable way, we can help shift the narrative away from the tragic artist trope towards one that celebrates growth, resilience, and collaboration. Let's encourage creativity to flourish, not just survive! ✨ #Creativity #Writing #SupportArtists #PalaScribe #Community #ElizabethGilbert #ArtisticJourney
