There are myriad ways to address substance use disorder (SUD) beyond "rehab," making it a challenge for health plans to navigate. Multiple care channels may be needed along each individual's care journey to anticipate and prevent relapse, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), group support or other auxiliary methods in addition to traditional rehabilitation. Health plans can employ tech-enabled solutions that are well-positioned to use navigation tools and white glove care at all stages of SUD recovery. It's crucial to recognize the signs of substance use disorder (SUD) early on, as awareness can lead to timely intervention and support. Here are steps you can take once you've recognized that you or a loved one may have SUD: 1️⃣ Seek professional help by reaching out to a healthcare provider for an assessment and guidance on treatment options. 2️⃣Establish a support network by surrounding yourself with friends, family, or support groups who can offer encouragement, understanding, and accountability. 3️⃣ Research and consider different treatment programs, such as outpatient therapy, support groups, or residential treatment, to find the best fit for your needs. At Continuum Outpatient Center, we're here to offer compassionate care and evidence-based treatments for individuals struggling with SUD. Access the surveys here: https://lnkd.in/g5FD6gCG We have added the BSSQ-Brace, GAD-7 (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), and PHQ-9 (Patient Health Questionnaire) to our website. Your patients can take the quiz using a phone, iPad, or computer. Their score will be tallied, and they will be given information about what the score means, along with resources. Using quality of life outcome measures in your clinical practice is a GREAT way to screen your patients for anxiety, depression, and brace-related stress. #scoliosus #puttingtheusinscoliosis #scoliosis #scoliosisbrace #bracelove #scoliosisawareness #raiseawareness #bentnotbroken #scoliosissupport #secretproject #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #scolimentalhealth #scoliosismentalhealth #theempowerhour #empowerhour #scoliosiseducation
