83% of you were correct. Applying for a job with a Word Doc is like doing a Virtual Interview in the morning before you've had coffee, showered, gotten dressed and brushed your teeth. Don't do it. Don't use your rough draft word doc with red squiggly lines. Prove me wrong!

When applying to a job, do you send a PDF or Word version of your resume? If a recruiter wants the Word version of your resume, ask them why! Don't let them change your resume. If they have suggestions for you, make the changes yourself. It's still your resume that you have to defend in an interview. Some recruiters will remove your contact information, add their logo, and make other changes, but good recruiters with good clients don't need to go through that level of protection. In the end, it's your information, so be sure you're aware of any changes a recruiter might make to it. (Sorry, please no google doc permissions here...). #weeklywedspoll #weeklywednesdaypoll
