Making friends and building relationships with people is essential in network marketing as it helps raise your level of awareness. Join groups and share hobbies or activities with people so you can build relationships with them. Making friends does not mean recruiting or prospecting all of them. It only means interacting and sharing great content to make them like, trust, or get attracted to you. #buildyourbusiness #networkmarketing

Network Marketers stop losing leads in your human sales engine, time-saving automation to leverage your cashflow engine into a wealth engine, tech sales bow out
Lets talk about making friends! When I was knee-deep in promoting my business opportunity in network marketing, HQ always said to promote the "community" of us working this business together. Having worked in corporate sales for over a decade, my taste for "fellow sales reps" wasn't favorable. Whether I was a sales rep, sales manager, or sales director in my career - there were several of us across the globe responsible for producing for the company. We may have been called a team, but unfortunately many treated each other as competition. So, to me, promoting a community of other "reps" marketing the same product or similar program - wasn't a selling point to me. It took almost six years to understand that community is too simple of a word to explain the profoundly positive impact it provides. Many of my favorite people to collaborate with and wisest sounding boards have come from being part of a social selling community. One of the most underrated benefits of being part of this industry is the people you meet. And it's not just with the team. It's with your clients, prospective clients, prospective teammates, and other members of the programs and courses you are part of to build your business. It's about cultivating a support web to help you find answers to your most demanding business or personal challenges. So lean into the positive energy by posting in the groups you are part of, asking questions, answering questions, responding to a funny meme, and just connecting. The little connection may spark a friendship, a partnership, or a supporting hand.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 ... 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘁. ... That is the no.1 piece of advice I would give to anyone starting out on their own. Whether you are... 👉 Ridin' solo 👉 Building an empire 👉 Making it up as you go* *𝘋𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘳: 𝘔𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘶𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘣𝘩. Your network will be the one constant that you can rely on time and time again ... if you engage and nurture it. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁. 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗥𝗟. So... let me introduce you to one of my network... Joe Averill Joe and I started our self-employed journey at a similar time, and over the years have shared the ups and downs that come with the job (literally) Along with that, we have referred each other where we can to people who have a problem the other can solve. For me, I've referred Joe countless times because he's credible, knowledgable and top of his game... However it was such a nice surprise to get this hamper hand delivered to me and the team recently as a thank you for a recent client referral. 𝗝𝗼𝗲'𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 😉 But in all seriousness, this for me is proof of why you should look after your network... what goes around really does come around. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗹. ✌️ #marketing #referral #businessdevelopment

I help businesses generate and retain more clients by implementing award winning word of mouth referral strategies
Great catch up today with Terry Heath discussing all things business and marketing, in particular, how people make the same mistakes on social platforms as they do in face to face networking. The biggest being, effectively trying to use both as a cold calling platform and selling to people they have no ongoing relationship with. Whether you are networking online or in person, the key is to build "Know Like and Trust" with the people you meet. Whether you are networking online or in person, share stuff about you and your business but avoid being salesy so people get to #know and understand you better appreciate your values. Help people and offer respectful advice to become more #liked and build #trust by sharing memorable stories of what you have achieved and how you have helped people overcome challenges. Or, better still get other people to share your stories and help them become your brand advocates. Once Know, Like and Trust are in place people will be much more likely to use your services, or if they do not have a requirement for what you offer, will happily refer you and your organisation. Today, I was blown away with Terry's knowledge of Linked In. I thought I was OK, but nothing in comparison to Terry and cannot wait to attend his FREE workshop on March 20th to help me and my clients make the most of this platform If you want to pop along, do some face to face networking and also better understand how to leverage Linked in then click on the link below and I look forward to seeing you there. https://lnkd.in/ezymZTud

Co-founder at clientefy.co | I help founders sign clients through LinkedIn | Top 2% Marketer on LinkedIn WORLDWIDE | LinkedIn growth strategist
3 life-changing lessons I learned from LinkedIn: (2 years, 600 posts and 2+ M views later.) 1. Content creation gives you sales in the long run. 2. Networking creates long-term opportunities 3. More strategized connections = more sales. Without the right strategy You are standing on a dark road Without a flashlight Stop posting or sending connection requests just for the sake of it Commit to LinkedIn for next 90 days And see how it rewards you. PS. What lesson (1-3) do you resonate with the most?

Are we networking right, or am I overthinking everything? I took about 18 months off from networking and started getting back into it about 6 months ago. I'm seeing the same things I used to see... People collect business cards and put everyone on their newsletter or drip campaign. They'll do one-to-one's and try to sell each other on being a client. Then it stops Shouldn't networking be more like dating? We exchange numbers, then stay in contact. Learning about each other and hearing about our lives. Try to help each other and support each other. That's what we do when we want to date someone. Why do we stop at contact swaps and a pitch with networking? Am I wrong? Am I the only one seeing this? Or am I not doing something right? Should I be pitching more when I do one-to-one's? What are your thoughts?

Linked In marketing services that start conversations that convert. 💡Door opener 🧲 Client attraction 🔎 Visibility Improvement
Mistakes can make a difference. The typo on the card is a case in point and achieved more success than expected. Networking became NewTorking. It worked because of A+B+C+D factors. It got the Attention of recipients. It bolstered my Branding It created Curiosity It led to a Decision to contact me, 6 out of the 10 sent. Seems many people thought NewTorking was a post lockdown marketing term and wanted to know more. Accidents can make things happen. Accidental marketing ever worked for you? 🔹Follow, Connect, Chat, hit this 🔔 to be notified of posts 🔹Bookmark profile and save post, 3 dots top right ♦️♦️If you want to be on my physical mailing list for cards, newsletter, info and intersting stuff please message me with your best postal address ♦️♦️

Pumpkin spice season is here, but let’s talk networking ☕ I recently saw Stacey Pomeroy's LinkedIn post inviting anyone to schedule a coffee chat, and we had the chance to connect today. Here are my 3 key takeaways: •Step out of your comfort zone + network beyond your circle •Trust yourself—apply for roles you believe fit your skills •Personal branding is an essential part of networking If you’d like to grab a virtual coffee, reach out—I’d love to chat!
