Celebrating the small wins – Because we all deserve a Gold Star! Yesterday, I achieved something truly monumental: I made it through every Zoom meeting without talking while on mute, freezing mid-sentence, or accidentally sharing the wrong screen. Yes, I’m seriously considering adding this to my LinkedIn skills. 🤓 But on a more serious note, it’s these little victories that really keep us going. Whether it’s finally reaching Inbox Zero (even if it only lasted five minutes), mastering the art of balancing a can of Coke Zero while typing, or wrapping up that project that’s been lurking on your to-do list longer than you’d like to admit—these moments are worth celebrating. So, here’s to the small wins that make the workweek just a little bit brighter! How are you celebrating your mini milestones this week? I’d love to hear about the little things that are keeping you motivated. Bonus points if your achievement involves some creative use of coffee or a pet co-worker.

When I first started celebrating New Year’s, it was all about resolutions, big plans, and setting ambitious goals for the year ahead. Today, I’ve learned it’s just as important to reflect on the journey, celebrate the wins, and appreciate the lessons from the challenges. From personal growth to professional milestones, this year has been a blend of hard work, new opportunities, and moments of gratitude. Here’s the truth about starting a new year: it’s not just about what you achieve—it’s about how you grow and who you become along the way. Here are five tips to kick off the New Year with purpose: 1. Reflect on the past year: ➝ Celebrate your achievements and embrace the lessons learned. 2. Set realistic goals: ➝ Focus on progress, not perfection. Small steps lead to big changes. 3. Prioritize self-care: ➝ Rest, recharge, and make time for what truly matters. 4. Stay consistent: ➝ Success is built on habits—commit to daily actions that align with your goals. 5. Give back: ➝ Spread kindness and support others on their journeys. Now, as we step into 2025, I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and connecting with amazing people like you. Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with joy, success, and meaningful moments! P.S. What’s your top goal for 2025? Follow me, Asif Rasheed, for more inspiration and insights as we grow together!

If you don't ask for it → You will not get it 7. To thrive in a team/company → Be adaptive 6. Learning Matrix is a thing → You aren't alone in it 5. No one gives a crap who you are, until you build trust 4. You will not always get exciting work. Keep introspecting 3. Work with smart people in the room → You will realize the WHY 2. Introspect on when to overwork and when not → Keep balancing 1. There is no shame in calling yourself as "noob", unless you don't learn 🎉🙌🏻 !! Reflecting on a Bittersweet Year: As I look back on the past year, I find myself reflecting on what can only be described as a bittersweet journey. It’s incredible how life can intertwine moments of triumph with deep personal loss, creating a tapestry of experiences that shape us. This year, I achieved significant milestones, including: - Transitioning to a new role at a top US investment bank - Delivering 10 speaking engagements at prestigious events like Devoxx UK and Niyo Group DTX - Taking a 3-month career break that allowed me to pause and reflect - Winning an award with WeAreTechWomen, which I am immensely proud of However, amidst these accomplishments, I faced profound grief, losing two beloved family members earlier this year. It was a stark reminder of life’s fragility and the importance of cherishing every moment. While I navigated through the sorrow, I was grateful for the time I spent with them, a blessing that no career success can replace. This year has taught me that it’s perfectly okay to not be where you want to be sometimes. Everyone has their battles, even if they don’t always show it. My journey resonates with the truth that life is a blend of joy and sorrow, and we must honor both. For anyone feeling the weight of their own struggles, remember that it’s not just about the highlights we share; it’s about the unseen battles too. Let’s give ourselves grace, celebrate our wins, and remember to prioritize what truly matters—our loved ones and our well-being. As I continue to shine my light and pursue greatness, I am reminded that life’s challenges can lead us to deeper resilience and appreciation for the moments we often take for granted.

Reflecting on the Past, Aspiring for the Future As we close the chapter of the past year, it’s impossible not to marvel at the lessons we’ve gathered along the way. Career-wise, we've learned the value of perseverance, adaptability, and the importance of aligning with people who genuinely appreciate our craft. Family-wise, we've discovered that love, support, and shared moments are the anchors that keep us grounded amidst the storms. 2024 taught us that pouring our magic into spaces where it’s cherished creates ripples of impact far beyond what we can imagine. It’s not just about what we do—it’s about who we do it with and for. As we step into the new year, our aspiration is simple but profound: 🌟 To continue pouring our unique magic where it matters. 🌟 To nurture relationships—professional and personal—that inspire growth, respect, and mutual appreciation. 🌟 To remain unwavering in our pursuit of excellence, all while creating moments that matter with those we hold dear. Here’s to a year of intentionality, alignment, and the courage to focus on spaces where our light is celebrated. Let’s make 2025 a year where our magic shines brighter than ever before!

🚀 #2/52: #Wins, #Black_Coffee, and a Slice of #Humility ☕🎉 This week? Oh, it had it all—highs to celebrate, moments that stung, and even a newfound respect for black coffee. (Seriously, how have I been missing this?) Here’s how the week unfolded: 🎉 Wins That Made My Week: It kicked off with a proud team moment: Watching your team-mates grow and thrive felt like a win for the whole team. It’s these moments that remind me why celebrating progress matters—it’s fuel for the long haul. 🏆👏 And then came our first monthly #townhall. Honestly? It felt amazing to bring the team together, reset our focus, and share some collective wins. The energy in that room was everything! 🔄💡 🙃 A Tough Pill to Swallow Not every week is smooth sailing, right? 🌊 I got called out. Ouch. It stung, but it was also a humbling reminder: #listen_carefully, #prioritize what matters, and #lead by example. I took this feedback to the team with one key message: the client always comes first. It wasn’t an easy moment, but it’s one I know we’ll grow from. 💪✨ ❤️ Life Outside Work: Where the Real Magic Happens This weekend, I juggled house hunting 🏠 (equal parts exciting and exhausting) and spent quality time with my family. Those little moments of laughter and connection? They’re my ultimate recharge. Oh, and let’s talk about my lifestyle shift: black coffee and clean meals. 🥗☕ I thought I’d miss the sugar and comfort foods, but instead, I feel sharper, lighter, and surprisingly... zen. Who knew small changes could make such a difference? 😌🔥 What This Week Taught Me Progress isn’t always about the big wins—it’s about how you handle the messy, everyday moments. 💡 Celebrate the wins: Whether it’s a promotion or a team townhall, let’s recognize the good stuff! 💡 Embrace tough feedback: It’s uncomfortable, but it’s where real growth begins. 💡 Find your balance: Whether it’s family time, a hobby, or even a better cup of coffee—those moments outside work matter. Let’s Make This Interactive! Drop your stories below—I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep this conversation going and make this journey together. 🚀✨ Here’s to another week of learning, growing, and celebrating the little moments that matter. 💪🎉 #52WeekJourney #Leadership #Growth #LessonsLearned #Balance #TeamWins Anervea.AI Life @ Growman
