The traditional paradigm of organisations as profit-generating machines no longer works. We need a mindset shift to create truly valuable organisations. Most organisations today do not fully fit this image anymore. At the same time, though, echoes of the traditional management paradigm are still strongly present in many organisations across the globe. If we want to create organisations where colleagues feel a sense of belonging built on trust where they are empowered and engaged, we need to let the traditional management mindset go and replace it with a new one.
