🚨 Important Message 🚨 We are aware of the widespread cell outages affecting AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile customers across the country, potentially impacting the ability to reach emergency services. Safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure there are alternative methods to connect with us and seek help during this disruption. If you need help for domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking and are impacted by the cell outage, consider these options: 🔵 Landline Phones: If available, use a traditional landline phone to call our Help Line. Landlines are not affected by cell service disruptions. Many public places, such as libraries and community centers, have landlines available. 🔵 Use Wi-Fi for Email Communication: Reach us at GinnyP411@gmail.com via Wi-Fi for discreet and confidential support. 🔵 Activate Wi-Fi Calling: Turn on your phone settings to allow Wi-Fi calling. This feature enables you to contact emergency services using available Wi-Fi networks. 🔵 Message Someone for Help: If you have access to Wi-Fi, message someone nearby to call 911 on your behalf, providing them with your location details. 🔵 Visit a Neighbor for 911 Assistance: In case of immediate danger, head to a neighbor's house and ask to call 911 from their phone. Our 24/7 Help Line is available for all survivors and can be reached at 1-800-848-5991. We are here. https://lnkd.in/grUAWEra

Day 2-🔥 Hot Failover 🔥 What is the difference of hot failover and basic failover? ✏ Basic failover is what most people are used to. 🔀Primary connection goes out and the secondary takes over. Biggest issue? There is still down time. That transition can take 1-2 minutes to happen. 👎 If you're an 🚑 emergency 911 operator that down time would cause a life or death call to disconnect. 🔥 Hot Failover will transfer your traffic to another connection while maintaining session persistence. Translation: Peplink's Hot Failover ensures no downtime when switching connections. 👍 ☎ That call wouldn't drop and no one would know anything changed. If you are changing a computer for users, the first thing to do is spend a little time to explain what is being done. Most users do not react well to change. They do not understand what IT does in the company and only focus on system outages or mistakes. Show them a working model set up as it will be for them. Take time to show them what is different with the new system. You will need to allocate some time with the users to show them what is new once the system is installed. Be sure to have them sit at their desk and make sure the system is set up the way they want it to be on their desk while they work on it. Are the monitors set up they way they want. Mouse and keyboard where they want to use it from? Do not update them while they are away from the office and expect them to figure it out on their own when they come back.
