Excited to speak about the Current State of the Diamond Market at Initiatives in Art and Culture's 14th International Gold + Diamond Conference on July 16th. Despite the challenges fueled by online misinformation, there is a clear path forward for the natural diamond industry. Our future lies in embracing digitization and technology. By innovating our marketing strategies and combating misinformation, we can connect with today's consumer in meaningful and impactful ways. Together, let's forge a resilient and brilliant future for natural diamonds, ensuring their legacy continues to shine brightly #DiamondIndustry #NaturalDiamonds #Innovation #Technology #Marketing
This will be a great conference. Congrats on speaking! 👏 I will be going next year.
I will never understand why Olivia Landau gets top billing in such an event. To be clear, I have no ambition to be a featured speaker in any such forums. Amish Shah next time please carry the torch for all LGD stakeholders and we will make sure you get TOP BILLING. I know it is crass to fight for self promotion but Olivia does it very effectively but rest assured we can get the job done for you. Please step is an serve as President of the IGDA. Joanna Park-Tonks where are you ? In hiding ? Please step down as President and let Amish take over. You can go work for Marty Hurwitz and promote Grown Diamond Trade Organization but please relinquish your role as President in exile of IGDA. It is very bad manners to not even return tom (thomas) chatham request for an update on IGDA’s status. Tom is a founding member of IGDA. This is all very bizaare.
Anyone who trashes LGD and refuse to embrace and acknowledge its rightful place at the table is in my humble opinion not suitable to talk about the future of the diamond industry. I am sure Amish Shah will do his best to speak up for LGD but frankly Amish is too much of a gentlemen to play hardball. Everyone will get their moment of fame and few good about making a case for natural or LGD and promote their brands. And the LGD bashing goes on until the next feel good seminar. No one hunkers down to follow up. I have a term for this. It is verbal sexual climax. It starts with a M. Everyone runs their mouth with nothing concrete ever being done. Please prove that I am wrong ! I want to be proven wrong and something positive can come out of these conferences. Amish : please help tom (thomas) chatham and me to revitalize the IGDA. Next time you speak at any seminar you speak on behalf of all LGD stakeholders. And as Founder of Jevar. U will actually help move the needle. Please help !
People and businesses have a choice on the type of diamonds they choose to wear, represent, and sell whether natural diamonds or lab grown diamonds. Very similar to people’s choice of organic foods vs processed foods, stones from the earth vs stones from a lab, real bodies vs plastic surgery. Olivia has the knowledge and experience in this arena which is why chosen to speak on this topic and I would listen to her speak any day. Stanley please stop bullying people for their preferences.
That's surely a great thing for you! What can be better than this; when you get to express your views on a topic that you're so passionate about?
Congratulations on being a speaker at the conference 👏 ! The diamond market indeed faces unique challenges, especially with the spread of online misinformation, lab grown diamonds and the G7 sanctions. Embracing technology will help in combating misinformation, reaching a broader audience effectively and promote your business and industry.
